Pada boarding school terdapat siswa yang tinggal di asrama dan di luar asrama. Hal ini tidak memungkiri akan adanya perbedaan pada kondisi siswa tersebut. Tidak terkecuali pada keterampilan menulis dan karakteristik teks berita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan keterampilan menulis dan karakteristik teks berita antara siswa asrama dengan non-asrama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di MTs Al Ikhsan Beji, Kedungbanteng. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode unjuk kerja, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Sumber data merupakan hasil tulisan teks berita dari siswa. Kajian ini membahas interjeksi dari perspektif sosiopragmatik yang dituturkan oleh Joko Widodo selaku tokoh politik tertinggi di Indonesia. Kajian ini diharapkan mampu mendeskripsikan penggunaan, pemanfaatan, dan dampak tuturan Joko Widodo berdasar pada perspektif sosiopragmatik. Guna menghimpun data penelitian yang sahih, pendekatan yang digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi tuturan Jokowi dalam gelar wicara mengenai Covid-19. This study aims to analyze the vision and mission of senior high schools in Boyolali. The analysi... more This study aims to analyze the vision and mission of senior high schools in Boyolali. The analysis deployed Van Djik's model of critical discourse analysis. The analysis deals with the analysis of text structure, social cognition, and social context. There were three senior high schools in Boyolali District, but only two schools applied Adiwiyata policy, namely SMA 1 Boyolali and SMA 3 Boyolali. Although SMA 2 Boyolali does not apply Adiwiyata policy, its mission also embodies a clean, comfortable, safe and healthy environment. The implementation of Adiwiyata policy in SMA 1 Boyolali, organizing some programs that involve activities of all the school community, including building absorption wells, biopori, waste management systems, greenhouse, planting trees, wall magazine about the environment and waste separation. Besides, the implementation of Adiwiyata Policy with the environmental concept is included in SMA 3 Boyolali curriculum, particularly local content subjects, such as Environmental Education (PLH) given to 10th grade. However, this subject is integrated into all subjects at 11th and 12th grades.

In expressing their criticism, the students used unique dictions, tickling, and even tend to humor. From this background, an idea emerged to conduct a study of how the strategy of creating humor in the political communication of Indonesian millennial generation. This research is a type of qualitative research with a content analysis approach. A total of 30 data found were then analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results obtained from this study are that the strategy of creating humor on poster aspirations of students is pursued in two ways, namely through the exploration of themes and language games. Socio-pragmatic combined the basic concept of language in the field of the society and the meaning contained in the discourse. The object of this research was the use of the title of discourse on political news. The functioning of titles in political news requires an understanding of the text and context in the field of comprehension of the discourse as a whole. Discourse in print media is a productive communication tool between the communicator and the communicant. The nature of news headlines is expected to reflect the entire contents of critical discourse delivered in an expository way. This study used a qualitative approach with the method of analyzing critical discourse on political news headlines in print media in Indonesia in a socio-pragmatic perspective. The identification was done by snowball sampling of all political news headlines to find the saturation point. After reaching the saturation point, the triangulation of data was performed to test the validity. The validity was used by method triangulation, source triangulation, and researcher triangulation. The data analysis technique with interactive technique in this research consisting of four stages of data processing, namely data collection, data reduction, conclusion drawing, and data display.

This research used mix method to answer the research questions and a quantitative approach to measure students' understanding of the rubric. Basic competence was assessed using the rubric and mapped students' competencies in designing the rubric. The qualitative rubric was used to describe students' difficulties in applying the rubrics produced in the learning process at school. Peningkatan pengetahuan untuk sadar terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana dapat dilakukan dengan sosialisasi melalui wayang fabel secara daring dengan tujuan untuk mengedukasi. Penelitian ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian masyarakat melalui kegiatan sosialisasi. Target sasaran sosialisasi peneliti merupakan salah satu sekolah yang terdapat di wilayah rawan bencana, yaitu SD Negeri Rejosari Gungkidul. Konsep pengemasan sosialisasi yang banyak monoton mendorong inovasi komunikasi yang tepat melalui media daring. Hal ini dapat menjadi alternatif dalam melakukan sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan agar mudah dipahami oleh siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan jumlah siswa yang tahu mengenai mitigasi bencana sebanyak 65%. The understanding of examining the dimensions of the test needs to be analyzed to look for factors that can explain the relationship or correlation between the various independent indicators observed. This study investigated the application of Item Response Theory (IRT) in analyzing packages of Indonesian test for foreign speakers. The test consists of 3 competencies that measure the ability in listening, reading, and grammar. BIPA learners are foreign language speakers who are learning Bahasa Indonesia coming from various... more BIPA learners are foreign language speakers who are learning Bahasa Indonesia coming from various language backgrounds. Bahasa Indonesia is a foreign language in BIPA teaching. A foreign language is learnt based on a specific purpose. This is a qualitative research using content analysis approach to study the feasibility of Indonesian textbooks of basic reading material for foreign speakers. The study involved a set sample of teaching materials developed by BIPA instructors to improve the learning electability of Indonesian language learners. Good teaching materials contain various type of materials; ranging from simple basic materials to complex materials that are expected to develop world views and perceptions of the social background of native speaker communities in second learning and foreign languages. The materials developed by BIPA instructors were already inviting or influencing the reader, namely BIPA learners, to easily understand the contents of the materials and do something according to the wishes of the author. Some of the weaknesses of BIPA teaching materials, one of which was the existence of an effective sentence that must be accepted in understanding the text. A good learning material that contains elements of sentence formation must have a logical relationship so that it is easily understood by the readers. Conjunctions in sentences can be used as a means of connecting sentence elements with other elements or parts of sentences with other parts of sentences so it is not located at the beginning of a sentence. One of the effective sentence dysfunction is if the conjunction is placed at the beginning of the sentence, it will be ineffective. The dot before the conjunction in the data should be removed.

Novels as literary works that have a high level of complexity have the potential to have conflict complexity that is displayed implicitly or explicitly. This study aimed to identify the author's style of showing conflict in his/her novel. In addition, the conflicts that arise in the novel were compared to show the interest used to lead readers' opinions. The results showed that psychologically, most writers using the ego approach worked using a secondary process. The ego shown in the novels is dominated by the ideal ego which shows that personality of superego in the context of human behavior becomes a system that forms moral and ethical values used to shape the perfect human personality. Multilingualism in non-indigenous community in Purwokerto needs to be analyzed to see how natives and sojourners negotiate meanings and deliver messages in their daily multilingual interactions. The negotiation of meanings and delivery of messages become prominent points since multilingualism may lead into meaning shifting, identity changing, and or cultural conflicts between interlocutors. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to explain multilingual phenomena in Purwokerto academic community. The data were taken from direct and indirect interactions, such as scientific forums, scientific discussions, faculty meetings, scientific presentations, and social media.
