Adegan ruqyah dalam film Roh Fasik memiliki keunikan tersendiri dibanding film-film yang lain, yakni dimana seorang ustadz melantunkan ayat suci al-Qur’an dengan irama yang sangat merdu. Untuk mengetahui apa dasar penggunaan ayat ayat al-Qur’an dilantunkan dan mengapa ayat tersebut digunakan, peneliti menggunakan teori resepsi estetis dan fungsional yang diperkenalkan oleh Ahmad Rafiq. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Resepsi estetis terlihat pada saat proses ruqyah, ustadz Hasan dan Kemal melantunkan ayat suci al-Qur'an dengan irama Bayyati pada Surah al-Baqarah/2: 148, irama Nahawand pada Surah al-Baqarah/2: 255, irama Bayyati Kurdi pada Surah al-A'raf/7: 117-122, irama Rost pada Surah al-Ikhlas dan al-Falaq. Secondly, it explains about manuscript condition that is good, the text can be red well although several letters are damaged by physical destructions such as eaten by termites or ripped off. In another side, the pages of this manuscript is intact. Thirdly, text editing of this manuscript aims to correct words or letters that does not fit the context of sentences. Fourthly, this manuscript is a ancient manuscript not only caused by its age, but also this manuscript is codex unicus that describe genealogy of kings and history of Mempawah figures.

And it is the only masterpiece of interpretation that was, and has been written by the scholar in West Kalimantan at the time. Even though God is all-knowing, He cannot transform all his ideas and thoughts to humans. However, this does not indicate the weakness of God, rather it is the limitation of language which serves as the medium of transformation; God’s language is limitless. So, how is it possible for the limited to accommodate the limitless? The Qur’an bounded to Arabic sentence structure, paragraphs, punctuations, vocabulary, including reduction, distortion and development by the language structure itself as well as cultural structure and readers’ subjectivity. So is in the case of gender, the existence of masculinity in the Qur’an also results from the influence of the language structure and the local culture.

Nevertheless Sahih al-Bukhari, as are the books of other hadith collections, has no theoretical-conceptual content of a theory in a mature and clear way.
