Upaya konservasi lahan memerlukan biaya yang tidak sedikit, dan sulit dilakukan manakala tidak mendapat dukungan masyarakat. Oleh karenanya, dalam hali ini dianggap perlu adanya konsep yang dapat memadukan kepentingan: konservasi lahan, dan sarana ekowisata. Sebagian kawasan Sumber Brantas merupakan kawasan imbuhan dari mata air Sumber Brantas, dan merupakan kawasan konservasi. Oleh karena itu dirancang kegiatan perencanaan konservasi lahan yang terpadu dengan sarana Ekowisata. Changes in load on the motor affect the motor speed response so it does not match the set point speed. This study uses the Direct Torque Control (DTC) method in regulating the speed of an induction motor. The DTC method is a vector control method that is directly assigned to the inverter. DTC method in controlling speed based on Proportional Integral Differential (PID) control. Determination of PID tunning using two methods, namely, ziegler-nichols and cohen-coon method. The ziegler-nichols method have overshoot speeds starting at 0.8% of the setpoint, whereas using the cohen coon method there is no overshoot and the speed at stable conditions matches the setpoint.

A robust sequential primal-dual linear programming formulation for reactive power optimization is... more A robust sequential primal-dual linear programming formulation for reactive power optimization is developed and discussed in this paper. The algorithm has the characteristic that no approximations or complicate control logic are required in the basic Sequential Linear Programming (SLP) formulation as used by other SLP algorithms reported in the literature. Transmission loss minimization is used as the primary objective. A secondary feasibility improvement objective is used which results in better feasible solution in comparison with the loss minimization objective especially when the initial base case has over voltages. Modification in the proposed method to obtain the limited amount and limited movement of controller solution for real time application is also presented. The algorithm has been tested on Ward and Hale 6-Bus system.
