В них рассматривается широкий спектр теоретических проблем истории, политологии, источниковедения, социальной философии, этнологии в контексте исламской культуры. Сборник представляет интерес для широкого круга читателей, интересующихся Востоком и мусульманским миром. Издание осуществляется при финансовой поддержке Международной Ассоциации изучения ираноязычных сообществ -IASPS (International Association for the Study of Persianate Societies).

В статье затронута проблема представленности ислама в публичном пространстве Республики Таджикистан-единственной среди стран постсоветской Средней Азии, накопившей уникальный опыт со-бытия секулярно ориентированного государства и полноценно участвующих в социальнополитической жизни религиозных конфессий, имеющих длительную историю бытования в регионе (суннизм ханафитского толка и исмаилизм), а также религиозной партии. Партия исламского возрождения Таджикистана получила законодательно закрепленное право участия в работе парламента, издания газет и журналов и проч. в результате мирного урегулирования межтаджикского конфликта 1992-1997 гг. Автор рассматривает композицию мусульманского сообщества страны, новые модели и формы социализации и репрезентации его различных представителей. Особое внимание уделено новому феномену социально-политической жизни республики: появлению мусульманских женщин-активисток исламской партии и исмаилитской общины.

The article deals with the goals, perspectives and problems in the
development of manuscriptology... more The article deals with the goals, perspectives and problems in the
development of manuscriptology in Tajikistan in the 21th century. There are some achievements in preparation and publication of the next volumes of the famous edition of the Catalogue of Oriental Manuscripts of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. Six volumes of the Catalogue have been published until 1988. The new trend of its publication started since 2017. The article informs on the most interesting copies of the seventh, eighth and ninth volumes been published in 2019 and 2020. It reveals concern on raising a level of professional knowledge of a young generation of specialists in oriental studies for the implementation of such complicated work as the description of manuscripts is. It is shown the steps proposed to solve this problem at the level of universities, and within the Center of Written Heritage, the agency possessing the greatest fund of manuscripts in Tajikistan.

The agenda of the global Islamic discourse of the 15th century of hijra (third quarter of the 20t... more The agenda of the global Islamic discourse of the 15th century of hijra (third quarter of the 20th – early 21st century) is formed under the influence of both endogenous and exogenous factors. The transformation of social, political, and religious determinants, as well as changes in the interpretation of local and global history, caused a rethinking of a number of doctrines and strategies that dominated the world's theoretical space and socio-political practices. An in-depth analysis of the realization of the theory of modernity and the doctrine of secularism raised the question of finding adequate interpretation tools in highlighting the current tendencies of world history. The search for a model of “Islamic modernity” in the Islamic intellectual space is a responce to the changes in the global world order. Understanding global challenges has contributed to the evolution of an Islamic spiritual and legal tradition ensuring its return to the public space in the era of post-secularism in a renewed quality, without excessive sacralizing the symbolic capital of Islam. On this basis, the so-called “New Islam” has taken shape representing new approaches to the issues of self-identification, political leadership, gender, etc.

The collapse of the Timurid empire set in motion the complex mechanisms of the political reorgani... more The collapse of the Timurid empire set in motion the complex mechanisms of the political reorganization of Eurasia and led to the emergence of new political formations. The nomadic dynasty, Shibanids Abu’l-khayrids (906–1007/1500–99), having established their power in Maverannahr, though powerful, but still a marginal stratum andsought to reinforce their influence and authority. They staked their claim on Sunni orthodoxy, which unified the basis of societal development. The struggle on the external contour against Shi’ism, which became the state ideology of Iran, required a reaffirmation of their legitimacy as an “al-firqa alnājiyya”. The region’s dominant Hanafi interpretative community, ulama, and faqihs launched a process of rethinking the Islamic legal heritage.
Ву identifying manuscripts of legal works in research holdings of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the author attempts to outline the corpus of writings that could help more accurately recreate the political-legal sphere of the Abu’l-khayrids khanate in the era considered as the second stage in the formation of Islamic law in pre-modern Eurasia.

Статья знакомит с результатами предварительного исследования уникального труда «Манакиб ал-хулафа... more Статья знакомит с результатами предварительного исследования уникального труда «Манакиб ал-хулафа'» («Добродетели / Похвальные качества халифов»), составленного Кавам ад-Дином Мухаммадом ал-Хусайни ал-Санауджиради ал-Зийаратгахи ал-Харави в 997/1588 г. Этоответ на протестное послание шиитов Герата, переживших осаду и взятие города войсками суннитов-Шибанидов. «Манакиб» воссоздает ранний этап истории ислама до момента раскола, вызванного разницей в понимании принципов передачи верховной политической власти (выборный или наследственный), и раскрывает достоинства четырех праведных халифов. Как неопровержимые доказательства превосходства суннизма над шиизмом в трактате приведены фрагменты Корана и хадисы. Сочинение представляет яркий образец полемической литературы в ходе жесткой идеологической борьбы двух ортодоксий-суннитской и шиитской, и содержит ценную информацию по религиозной и политической истории Евразии в период предмодерна. They are: "Zafar-nama" by Badr ad-Din Kashmiri and "Manaqib al-khulafa" by Mulla Mir (Qawām ad-Dīn Muhammad al-Husaini al-Haravi).
The works are quite different in gender and forms." Zafar - nama" is a volumetric poem (597ff.) dedicated to Abdullakhan the Second (r. 991-1006/1583-98), "Manaqib al Khulafa is small writing (36ff.)is a reply to the protest letter of Shi'a intellectuals written after the severe military actions of the Shibanids in Khorasan. They contain many unique details of the peculiarities of the history of the region in the pre-modern period.
