Selama ini intervensi yang dilakukan kepada penderita tuberculosis paru masih terpusat pada penanganan farmakologis. Peran kader TB dan keluarga diharapkan tidak pada aspek farmakologis saja, tetapi juga upaya non farmakologis salah satunya melalui latihan pernapasan. Diharapkan dengan melakukan latihan pernapasan dapat memperbaiki kapasitas fungsi paru dan menurunkan resiko perubahan bentuk fisik pada penderita TB paru. Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas yang akan menjadi tempat pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Puskesmas Tanah Kali Kedinding dan Puskesmas kenjeran Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis senyawa turunan isoniazid dengan bantuan iradiasi gelo... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis senyawa turunan isoniazid dengan bantuan iradiasi gelombang mikro serta mengetahui pengaruh gugus hidroksi dan metoksi pada 4-hidroksi-3-metoksibenzaldehida terhadap sintesis N’-(4-hidroksi-3-metoksibenziliden)isonicotinohidrazida melalui perbandingan rendemen hasil sintesis dengan N’-benzilidenisonico-tinohidrazida. Uji kemurnian senyawa hasil sintesis ditentukan dengan titik leleh dan kromatografi lapis tipis. Struktur kimia dari hasil sentesis dielusidasi dengan spektroskopi UV, IR, dan 1H-NMR. Didapatkan rendemen hasil sintesis dari N’-benzilidenisonicotinohidrazida sebesar 87% dan N’-(4-hidroksi-3-metoksibenziliden)isonicotinohidrazida sebesar 91%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa gugus hidroksi dan metoksi pada 4-hidroksi-3-metoksibenzaldehida meningkatkan kereaktifan reaksi adisi nukelofilik dari sintesis N’-(4-hidroksi-3-metoksibenziliden)isonicotinohidrazida.
Soil biodiversity is fundamental for ecosystems, ensuring many ecosystem functions, such as nutri... more Soil biodiversity is fundamental for ecosystems, ensuring many ecosystem functions, such as nutrient cycling, organic matter decomposition, soil formation, and organic carbon pool increase. Due to these roles, there is a need to study and completely understand how soil biodiversity is composed through different habitats. The aim of this study was to describe the edaphic soil community of the alpine environments belonging to the Gran Paradiso National Park, thus detecting if there are any correlation with environmental features. We studied soil fauna through environmental DNA metabarcoding. From eDNA metabarcoding, 18 families of arthropods were successfully detected, and their abundance expressed in terms of the relative frequency of sequences. Soil faunal communities of mixed coniferous forests were characterized by Isotomidae, Entomobriydae, Hypogastruridae, and Onychiuridae; while mixed deciduous forests were composed mostly by Isotomidae, Cicadidae, Culicidae, and Neelidae. Calcicolous and acidic grasslands also presented families that were not detected in forest habitats, in particular Scarabaeidae, Curculionidae, Brachyceridae, and had in general a more differentiated soil community. Results of the Canonical Component Analysis revealed that the main environmental features affecting soil community for forests were related to vegetation (mixed deciduous forests, tree basal area, tree biomass, Shannon index), soil (organic layers and organic carbon stock), and site (altitude); while for prairies, soil pH and slope were also significant in explaining soil community composition. This study provided a description of the soil fauna of alpine habitats and resulted in a description of community composition per habitat and the relation with the characteristic of vegetation, soil, and topographic features of the study area. Further studies are needed to clarify ecological roles and needs of these families and their role in ecosystem functioning.

This study used a descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional study approach. One hundred twenty-one volunteers were taken using purposive sampling. The variables were Attitude Toward Behavior (ATB), Subjective Norm (SN), Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC), intention, and first aid behavior. It is referred to an ability to show an attention and feel empathy for others, especially for patients. Faith or religion give a contribution on performing behavior, attitudes and emotions of nurses in doing their job. In addition, emotional intelligence is mentioned as a critical success factor in the work by 80%. But on the other hand, the system of nurse recruitment in Indonesia is still putting academic intelligence (GPA score) as the main requirement. This study aim to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and caring behavior in Muslim nurse in a religious-based hospital in Surabaya, Indonesia. This was a cross sectional study. The population was all nurses in a surgical ward of a religious-based hospital in Surabaya. As many as 52 nurses participated as respondents based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The dependent variable was emotional intelligence, and the independent variables are caring behavior. Data were analyzed using the Spearman rho test. The study showed that 57.7% of Muslim nurses performed good caring and 51.9% showed the ability to control emotions. The correlation between emotional intelligence and caring behavior in nurses showed p value 0.000 and correlation coefficient r= 0.684. Emotional intelligence showed a positive correlation with the caring behavior of Muslim nurse. It means that emotional intelligence could increase nurse caring behaviors. A religious-based hospital can support the development of emotional intelligence aspect through any kind program of emotional self-control for nurses.

Most of the members of the Posyandu Lansia in the working area of the Mulyorejo Health Center are gout sufferers. These community service activities include: 1) monitored uric acid levels of members of the Posyandu Lansia 2) health education for elderly members and cadres about gout: definition, symptom signs, and gout diet with Bodesera media (Booklets and Models of Uric Acid-Free Healthy Foods) 3) training on how to use gout test kits for elderly cadres and 4) administering gout tests to elderly cadres. Stress is the spice of life and the absence of stress makes life dull, monotonous and spiritless. Workplace stress has been shown to have a detrimental effect on the health and wellbeing of employees, as well as a negative impact on workplace productivity and profits. Stress may cause within organizational context and outside. The job nature of banking employees is very tedious as it involves the direct customer interaction in all levels. There are several self-help remedies which are used to produce effective techniques for coping with stress. So it should be considered an efficient way of improving organizational profitability and reducing costs through lowering rates of absenteeism and turnover. Because employees spend roughly one third of their lives working in an organization, the sound mental health of employees is of paramount importance. The management takes necessary initiatives to overcome the disastrous effect of occupational stress. Managing stress will improve the chances of achieving sustainable productivity levels. Stress management should be included as one of the top agendas in modern day society.

This study aimed to describe of low back pain in online ride-hailing in Surabaya.Method: This study was done in Surabaya, used a cross-sectional design. The sample was 100 respondents using a consecutive sampling technique. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and describe using crosstabs statistical.Results: Online ride-hailing experienced low back pain amounts 61% and has not experienced amounts of 39%.
