Histoire de l'application du «Serment d'Hippocrate», le plus ancien texte écrit concernant l' éth... more Histoire de l'application du «Serment d'Hippocrate», le plus ancien texte écrit concernant l' éthique médicale, peut nous permettre de mieux comprendre l' évolution de la conscience morale dans notre culture, de l' Antiquité à nos jours. Au moins deux raisons nous font ré échir aujourd'hui sur le patrimoine d'Hippocrate. tant qu'il relève de la moralité, il reste un excellent exemple pour l' ensemble de l'éthique protégeant la dignité de l'homme. nous sommes les témoins du rejet des valeurs garanties par le «Serment». Depuis le début du XX éme siècle, on ne propose plus aux médecins le texte original du «Serment d'Hippocrate» en le remplaçant par des textes di érents presque sans rapport avec le texte original. On a rme même avec un certain mérite que le texte d'Hippocrate est un beau document témoignant d'une certaine conscience morale, mais qui n' est qu'un document historique devenu inutile pour nos contemporains. Pour cela nous devons nous inquiéter de ce que notre culture abandonne la tradition la plus digne et les valeurs sur lesquelles a été édi ée notre morale médicale. 3 Le «Code d'Hammurabi» est l'un des plus anciens textes juridiques, que nous connaissons. Il fut réalisée sur l'initiative du roi de Babylone Hammurabi en 1750 av.

Avant la deuxieme guerre mondiale l'activite de la philosophie etait tres limitee par les occ... more Avant la deuxieme guerre mondiale l'activite de la philosophie etait tres limitee par les occupants du territoire polonais. Les Universites alors tres surveillees etaient des chaires quasiment fermees. Malgre les difficultes de nature politique, au debut du XX e siecle, les philosophes ont reussi a mettre en place de nombreuses initiatives pour developper la pensee philosophique grâce a la creation de revues specialisees ou d'associations scientifiques dans des Centres Universitaires comme Cracovie, Varsovie, Poznan, Vilnius et Lvov. En s'appuyant sur des initiatives de medecins, qui organisaient deja a la fin du XIX e siecle des Congres scientifiques au niveau national, les philosophes ont adhere a ces initiatives en organisant des sessions philosophiques aupres des Congres des medecins. Au moment de la liberation de la Pologne, le milieu des philosophes s'est bien prepare a une veritable organisation de la vie intellectuelle en Pologne. La premiere initiative qui consistait a organiser un Congres National de la philosophie est nee juste apres les premiers Congres Mondiaux de la Philosophie organises a partir de 1900 a Paris, puis Geneve et Heidelberg. Les Congres nationaux de la philosophie polonaise organises en 1923 a Lvov et en 1927 a Varsovie temoignent de l'ampleur et de la richesse de notre philosophie dans le premier quart du XX e siecle.
