
Ken Sell
Ken Sell is the Head of Aoba-Japan International School in Japan and is presently engaged in a school based project designed to support the Japanese national education system reform agenda. He is an adjunct of Southern Cross University. Having previously held educational leadership positions in Australia, Norway and China, Ken’s research is informed by his innovate approaches to leadership and the building of professional capital in schools. Starting with his work for Central Queensland University (CQU), where he developed the unique Noosa Hub’s Master of Learning Management program, he has continued to investigate and publish research and articles related to the practical application of investing in ‘teachers as researchers’, ‘receptive accountability’ and ‘professional capital’ in schools. As a reflective practitioner, who has worked in diverse educational settings, Ken has dedicated his career to supporting school and teacher transformation.
