2018 hat der Autor die Oper unter Verwendung dieser Stimme und einer erhaltenen Abschrift des Librettos rekonstruiert bzw. im Stile Rameaus neu komponiert.
Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683 - 1764) wrote the music for Charles Antoine Leclerc de La Bruère's (1714 - 1754) libretto "Linus" between April and November 1750. On 10 May 1751, a rehearsal took place in the private theatre of the Marquise de Villeroy. It was agreed that the fifth act was flawed and needed to be changed. Soon after the rehearsal, when Rameau went to collect the scores for revision, they were untraceable - with the exception of the first violin part.
In 2018, the author reconstructed / recomposed the opera in the style of Rameau, using the original violin part and a surviving copy of the libretto.
