The papers presented this year offer high-quality models of incorporating practical politics into course curricula, extending political learning outside the classroom and into the community, and weaving civic engagement education throughout all disciplines and campus life. As civic education is a core objective of the American Political Science Association, track participants issue a call to action to recommit to this core pillar of the discipline and take concrete steps to work with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure our students are active and informed citizens.
