Nuevas formas de ausencia: las redes sociales [New forms of absence: social networks], is a proje... more Nuevas formas de ausencia: las redes sociales [New forms of absence: social networks], is a project that has as its main focus the realization of an audiovisual essay about the new forms of absence that are promoted in social networks... The graphic works and the actions developed under the context of social networks not only constitute the material for the film, but also become a medium for experimentation for the outlined ideas... The audiovisual proposal uses appropriationist techniques and strategies from collaborative art to explore the relationship between body and technology, presence and absence, visibility and invisibility. This document presents the memory of the production of the audiovisual essay, its dissemination, the interventions carried out on Instagram and WhatsApp, as well as the graphic work that precedes it. All of this is focused on the reflection on how new technologies have changed our conception of the world, as well as our personal relationships and what implications the concept of absence has in this process.
