The research aims to investigate the potential impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the digi... more The research aims to investigate the potential impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the digital supply chain in light of extant literature on the Decision-Oriented Information (DOI) theory and the Technology-Oriented Enterprise (TOE) framework. The research further attempts to unpack the strategic implications of AI integration in supply chain management, and its association with operational excellence and business model innovation. The study is exploratory and employs a mixed-methods approach. We develop propositions that examine the decision-making processes within AI-enhanced supply chains based on an analysis of concepts central to the DOI theory. We also employ the TOE framework to develop further propositions regarding the technological infrastructure required for AI implementation. Empirical case studies encompassing AI applications in different industries (e.g. manufacturing, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals) are presented to gain a broad perspective of the impact of AI on the digital supply chain. AI technologies inherently make supply chains more agile, transparent, and responsive. Machine Learning algorithms allow for more accurate forecasting and demand management under conditions of supply chain risk and volatility. Robotics and automation, allow for greater flexibility and efficiency in executing operations and logistics. Additionally, the successful implementation of AI is heavily contingent on the organization's current level of technological infrastructure and its alignment with its current and future business objectives. Furthermore, the DOI theory and TOE framework may serve as a blueprint for how one could evaluate AI implementation beyond the scope of supply chain management.

The rapid advancement of technology has substantially impacted numerous sectors, including the ba... more The rapid advancement of technology has substantially impacted numerous sectors, including the banking industry. It is now apparent that the banking industry is affected by the innovative role that the Internet of Things (IoT) plays, which affects a multitude of operations and services. This study uses a quantitative approach and PLS-SEM to investigate the widespread impact of Internet of Things (IoT) technology on the Excel Performance of Islamic Banks in the UAE. The study integrates the Resource-Based View (RBV), Islamic Banking Theories, and Fraud Triangle Theory to create a complete framework. The research's reliability is supported by a sample of 407 replies from 504 participants. The findings strongly support the hypotheses that IoT integration improves Islamic banking performance in the UAE, such as data analytics, customer service, automation systems, fraud detection capabilities, and asset-backed finance, while aligning with Sharia Principles and improving risk-sharing mechanisms. However, the influence of IoT on escalating fraudulent activities and hence negatively impacting performance was not proven. The study emphasizes the importance of IoT in improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in Islamic banks in the UAE. .

This research investigates the transformative impact of business intelligence (BI) in four key domains: drug development enhancement, operational optimization, compliance assurance, and market dynamics comprehension. The research highlights the need to utilize a data-driven methodology to emphasize the value of business intelligence (BI) tools in extracting valuable insights, facilitating strategic decision-making, and promoting operational efficiency. The results indicate that pharmaceutical organizations that utilize business intelligence (BI) can uncover concealed patterns, recognize chances for growth, and make well-informed decisions. Additionally, the capacity of business intelligence (BI) to integrate novel data has accelerated the development of resilient technical frameworks, thereby reinforcing its essential position within the pharmaceutical sector in Jordan. This research serves as evidence of the potential of business intelligence (BI) in facilitating innovation, surmounting obstacles, and eventually improving patient outcomes.

This study investigates the ways in which collaboration may provide a competitive advantage in gl... more This study investigates the ways in which collaboration may provide a competitive advantage in global marketing through focused strategy, differentiation, and cost leadership. The study uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to analyze data and present a comparative analysis of separate and combined strategic approaches. The result of the study implies that differentiation is the main factor influencing the variation in collaborative competitive advantage, which accounts for the largest percentage of explained variance (R² = 0.729). Whereas the combined model also shows a high level of explanatory ability (R² = 0.693). The path coefficient shows that differentiation, focused strategy, and cost leadership have a positive impact on competitive advantage. The integrated model also shows significant indirect effects, highlighting the benefits of combining several strategies. These results suggest that in order to optimize resource allocation and enhance market positioning, firms should adopt a comprehensive approach that incorporates many techniques. This study contributes to the existing research in strategic management by emphasizing the importance of a cohesive strategy in sustaining a competitive advantage in the fast-evolving digital marketing field.

The global supply chain is facing risks and challenges that disrupt the supply chain and negative... more The global supply chain is facing risks and challenges that disrupt the supply chain and negatively affect performance. The high-quality cooperation between supply chain members is a useful solution to help limit risks and improve its performance. This study was conducted to demonstrate the relationship between collaboration, supply chain risk, and supply chain performance of organic agricultural products in Vietnam. Research data were collected from 162 enterprises producing organic agricultural products. Applying the structural equation modeling (SEM), the study has shown that supply chain risks negatively affect the supply chain performance of organic agricultural products. The close cooperation between members of the supply chain limits supply chain risks, thereby improving the efficiency of the supply chain of Vietnamese organic agricultural products.

The aim of this research is to identify the main determinants of Kosovo outbound tourists influen... more The aim of this research is to identify the main determinants of Kosovo outbound tourists influencing the use of e-services in the hospitality industry. To test hypotheses, we used Partial Least Squares Path Modeling (PLS-PM). Findings suggest that the intention of Kosovo outbound tourists to use e-services in the hospitality industry is influenced positively by performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, perceived value, and satisfaction with information quality. We found that expected effort and social influence have no impact on the intention to use e-services. The relationship between users' behavioral intentions and satisfaction with the information provided and real use behavior is confirmed. The perceived value depends on cost-savings, enjoyment and convenience from the use of e-services in hospitality.

Blockchain technology has been gaining relevance in every walk of life. Keeping this relevance in... more Blockchain technology has been gaining relevance in every walk of life. Keeping this relevance in the banking sector, the current study aims to synthesize the body of knowledge on blockchain adoption for sustainability in developing countries while encapsulating challenges and opportunities using a systematic literature review. It offers a review of scholarly published articles published between 2010 and 2022 in EBSCO, Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases. The findings of the study revealed that scalability, the lack of operability among the blockchain service providers, and the absence of favorable regulatory laws and generally accepted rules were the major hurdles in the way of blockchain adoption in developing countries. Implantation of smart contracts, risk management, risk mitigation and faster payment are the opportunities for the banking sectors of developing countries to increase trust and transparency in their financial systems as well as formalization of their economy. However, the studies concluded that upon the adoption of blockchain technologies, there will be ease in financial transactions and transfers of money for financial institutions. Other challenges highlighted by the studies included threats of cybercrimes and privacy breaches.

However, due to its special characteristics, strategic plans in government organizations are mostly developed at the institutional level. As services provided by government agencies, there must be technological solutions and science-based plans to provide the best services to customers. To solve these limitations, the study aimed to identify the impact of ICT critical success factors on Strategic planning at Jordanian Government Agencies. A quantitative questionnaire survey is conducted to examine the Impact of ICT Critical Success Factors in Strategic planning. Data is collected from (200) managers in Jordanian Income and Sales Tax Department middle and upper management. The results revealed that the degree of implementation of ICT critical success factors and the degree of implementation of Strategic planning in Jordanian Government Agencies from the point of view of upper and middle management were both in a high degree. Furthermore, there was an impact of ICT critical success factors on Strategic planning in Jordanian Government Agencies from the point of view of upper and middle management.

T... more This research aimed to study the quality of e-service and its impact on citizen's satisfaction. The research measured and analyzed the quality of e-service through five dimensions: Reliability, Availability, Privacy and Responsiveness. A survey that consisted of 32 questions had been sent to 350 citizens, 279 valid replies had been received and used in the analysis. To analyze and evaluate the results, we used descriptive statistics including mean, percentages and frequency count, and some inferential statistics like Cronbach Alpha, Pearson coefficient, multiple correlation, ANOVA and multiple regressions. The findings of the research showed that the citizens had evaluated the quality of the e-services (throughout all dimensions) as fair or medium service, the citizens were satisfied with three of the E-service dimensions: Reliability, Availability and Privacy but they were not satisfied with the Responsiveness. The research also found that there is a positive and significant impact of each of the e-service quality dimensions on the citizen's satisfaction. The research proposes several recommendations that could raise the citizen's satisfaction such as increasing the awareness of the importance of the e-services provided, provide the citizens with enough information and guidelines on the systems usage, conduct workshops and live demonstration on how to use its system, have a special and qualified support team available at all times to help users to solve any problem they might face, answer the 's questions and enquires as fast as possible and expand, modify and update the systems so they include all the services customers need.
