The corona virus or Covid-19 outbreak that hit Indonesia has had an impact on the weakening of th... more The corona virus or Covid-19 outbreak that hit Indonesia has had an impact on the weakening of the economy in the real sector, including the poultry sector. The implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions, Work From Home (WFH) and Social Distancing during the pandemic by the government further limits the space for poultry actors to run their business. The decline in demand and purchasing power of the people for animal food products (chicken meat and eggs), high feed prices and unstable selling prices for poultry products have made many poultry farmers face huge losses and even unable to maintain their business. The methods used in community service activities are: 1) Socialization, Mentoring and Guidance, 2) Agribusiness Activities, 3) Knowledge Transfer, 4) Business Development. The result of community service in poultry farming in Bulo village, Panca Rijang District, Sidrap Regency, South Sulawesi Province is that the use of agribusiness behavior in poultry farming is a potential concept and can be developed to improve the quality of production, increase income, expand employment and provide business opportunities for Public. The application of agribusiness behavior in poultry farming includes procurement, post-production treatment, production processing and marketing.

Natural silk is an agro-industrial activity that includes two interconnected aspects, namely the ... more Natural silk is an agro-industrial activity that includes two interconnected aspects, namely the cultivation aspect and the industrial aspect. Natural silk covers the upstream to downstream sectors, the upstream sector includes the cultivation of silkworms and mulberry leaves as silkworm feed and in the downstream sector includes industry and marketing. The prospect of silk thread industry is very bright because silk thread has high economic value, the need for silk thread products is increasing from year to year, this is inversely proportional to the decreasing local silk yarn production. The Covid-19 pandemic has worsened the condition of the silk thread industry, decreased demand and disruption of industrial activities had a negative impact on the demand for silk thread production. This community service activity is carried out in the silk thread industry in Sabbeta Hamlet, Pising Village, Donri-donri District, Soppeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The methods used in this service are: 1) Socialization, mentoring and coaching, 2) Problem based discussion, 3) Technology transfer, 4) Entrepreneurship Capacity Building, 5) Monitoring and Evaluation. The result of community service is a change in the mindset of the silk thread industry actors in the aspects of production, marketing, managerial and human resources so as to increase the quality and quantity of silk thread. In addition, the results of this community service can increase the innovation and creativity of farmers, spinners and silk thread business actors so that the silk thread industry can survive this Covid-19 pandemic.

These phenomena and problems have motivated the program implementation team to help MSMEs in the ... more These phenomena and problems have motivated the program implementation team to help MSMEs in the furniture business in the village. The phenomenon stated above, the formulation of the problems faced by the partners above as furniture producers can be divided into three main problems, namely: knowledge and technology, capital, and marketing aspects. By knowing the three problems and related to each other, the initial approach taken is; (1). participatory rural appraisal method; namely in identifying problems and finding solutions, including program partners, (2) development of business; namely assisting partners in business development through entrepreneurial technology transformation by means of training and fostering groups of craftsmen and (3) coaching in an integrated and sustainable manner; means assistance in the production process, in order to obtain added value to the economy as a result of the business. The solution carried out above in a period of 5 months (May-September) in 2019 the sales target achieved increased by 30%. This revenue when compared to the previous year the turnover achieved each month was between IDR 150 million-IDR 300 million, after coaching through the PPPUD program by Bosowa University assigned by DRPM Dikti increased between Rp. 250 million-Rp. 450 million

This article uses a literature review approach, containing a description of the theory, findings and other research material obtained from reference materials to be used as a basis for research activities. The findings in this study, business process re-engineering strategies combine human resources and information technology to develop and improve company performance.
