
Samir Hamouda
Professor Samir Ahmed Hamouda was born in Benghazi in 1954. He is a faculty member at the University of Benghazi at the Department of Physics. He received his B.Sc. in Physics from The Ohio State University, U.S.A, in 1980. In 1995 he received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Warwick, England. In 1996 he joined The University of Benghazi. He thought courses for undergraduate and graduate levels:
General Physics, Solid State Physics, Vibrations and Waves, Interaction of γ-ray with matter, Fundamentals of Optics. He has supervised some MSc research projects. His recent research interests: astrophysics, bio-photons, Compton Scattering, Gamma-ray spectroscopy and Elemental Analysis. He was Director of the high level of training at the Advanced Center for Technical Capacity Building (formerly Bright Star University), Member of the Management Committee and Director of the Department of Human Resources Development and technical Atomic Energy Organization–Tripoli, and Director of Graduate Studies, Faculty of Science at University of Benghazi. A member of the International Scientific Committees; 2015 International Conference on Advanced Technology in Materials Science and Engineering (ATMSE2015), a member of the International Scientific Committees; The Asia-Pacific Engineering and Technology Conference (APETC 2016), He has many scientific publications involving several academic disciplines
