From the logistic point of view, this model determines the optimal location of production facilities and the assignment of these facilities to customers. From the financial point of view, it plans logistics decisions such that a financial indicator is maximized. We propose to use the Adjusted Present Value (APV) as the objective function.

These children are deficient in moral judgment, making it difficult for them to interact with others. Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of psychodrama techniques in improving the moral development of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Method: The research method is a quasi-experimental study. The statistical population of this study consist of all children aged 7 to12 years with attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder who have been referred to Shiraz medical clinics in 2019 for treatment. Thirty children from the aforementioned population whose ADHD diagnosis were confirmed by a psychiatrist were selected as subjects and were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. Then the subjects were asked to complete the Sinha & Verma's moral judgment test and their scores were considered as pre-test scores. Then the experimental group received an intervention of "psychodrama techniques" for 1.5 hours per week for a duration of 8 weeks; while the control group did not receive any intervention. At the end of the intervention, both groups were asked to complete a post-test and were followed up 2 months after the intervention. The data are analyzed using one-way analysis of covariance in SPSS-22 software. Results: The findings demonstrate that psychodrama techniques were effective on improving the moral development of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (P<0.005). Conclusion: According to the findings, psychodrama techniques can be used as an effective intervention to improve the moral development of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Chief among them is IP piracy by untrusted parties. Hardware obfuscation which locks the functionality and modifies the structure of an IP core to protect it from malicious modifications or piracy has been proposed as a solution. In this paper, we develop an efficient hardware obfuscation method, called Mystic (Mystifying IP Cores), to protect IP cores from reverse engineering, IP overproduction, and IP piracy. The key idea behind Mystic is to add additional state transitions to the original/functional FSM (Finite State Machine) that are taken only when incorrect keys are applied to the circuit. Using the proposed Mystic obfuscation approach, the underlying functionality of the IP core is locked and normal FSM transitions are only available to authorized chip users. The synthesis results of ITC99 circuit benchmarks for ASIC 45nm technology reveal that the Mystic protection method imposes on average 5.14% area overhead, 5.21% delay overhead, and 8.06% power consumption overheads while it exponentially lowers the probability that an unauthorized user will gain access to or derive the chip functionality.

The focus of the research is a setting where the Air Traffic Control System entity (ATC) needs to build a flight schedule for a runway and the airlines have different costs depending on the landing time window assigned to their flights. The airlines agents' (flights) goal is to minimize the deviation between actual landing time and target landing time. On the other hand, the air traffic entity agent seeks to maximize the utilization of a runway by landing as many flights as possible. An iterative bidding mechanism is developed as the negotiation protocol between flights and ATC. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is evaluated through a computational study. The results show that the proposed decentralized scheduling approach computes high quality schedules compared to the optimal solutions derived from a centralized benchmark model, and also abide by the aviation collaborative decision-making principle.

In this thesis ALP problem is investigated where several constraints such as aircraft’s landing time windows, minimum separation time and position shifting constraints are taken into consideration. Existing approaches such as optimized solution based methods and heuristic methods to tackle different aspects of the problem are reviewed, and a static mathematical model is studied. The mathematical model is solved and verified using random data generated from simulation. The data are generated based on Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada as well as from relevant data base library. AnyLogictm software was used to simulate aircraft landing operations in a runway environment. An agent based simulation was designed to include the dynamic event of aircrafts arrivals to the runway system. In the agent based sy...

To attain this goal, the glass transition behavior of poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA), PMMA/alumina and PMMA/hydroxylated alumina nanocomposites were investigated by molecular dynamic simulations (MD). All the MD simulations were performed using the Materials Studio 6.0 software package of Accelrys. To obtain the glass transition temperature, the variation of density vs. temperature was obtained. The temperature at which the slope of the density-temperature curve observably changes is defined as the glass transition temperature (Tg). The effect of alumina nanoparticles on the Tg was related to the free volume and the mobility of chain segments and the interaction between the alumina nanoparticles and the polymer. The mobility of the chain segments was investigated based on the mean square displacement and radius gyration. The results show that the increasement the Tg of the PMMA/hydroxylated alumina nanocomposite is more than that of the PMMA/alumina nanocomposite due to the modification of the alumina nanoparticles. Highlights: 2 The glass transition of PMMA/modified alumina and PMMA/alumina nanocomposite was calculated The mobility, Energy and gyration radius and energy of system was investigated.

Vendor managed inventory (VMI), which is a win-win strategy for both suppliers and buyers gains better results than traditional supply chain. In this research, we study an economic order quantity (EOQ) with shortage in form of partial backorder under VMI policy. The model is concerned with multi-item subject to multiconstraint including storage space, time period and budget constraints. Two metaheuristic algorithms, namely Simulated Annealing and Tabu Search, are used to find a near optimal solution for the proposed fuzzy nonlinear integer-programming problem with the objective of minimizing the total cost of the supply chain. Furthermore, the sensitivity analysis of the metaheuristic parameters is performed and five numerical examples containing different numbers of items are conducted in order to evaluate the performance of the algorithms.

Opt. A5, 256 (2003)]. In this work, we present a new and full analytical model for a single-pulsed laser excitation dual-beam mode-mismatched TLS for low absorption solid-state and liquid samples. Our model has been based on a new solution of time-dependent heat equation for a finite-radius cylindrical sample exposed to a single-pulsed excitation laser beam. For low absorbent samples, unlike previous models, all aberration terms associated in the thermal lens were taken into account in Fresnel integration. Besides, the model provides a full analytical mathematical expression for the temperature rise, normalized signal intensity, and Z-scan photothermal lens signal. The model was confirmed with experimental data of distilled deionized water with excellent agreement. Therefore, the model ...

Patients and Methods: In this randomized clinical trial study, 36 males with premature ejaculation attending Booali and Chamran hospitals in Tehran, Iran, in 2013 were enrolled and randomly assigned to receive either 50 mg tramadol or 20 mg fluoxetine 3 - 6 hours before sexual intercourse. Then the intra-vaginal ejaculation latency time (IELT) was compared. Results: Thirty-six subjects with the mean age of 44 ± 19.3 years underwent analysis. Eighteen subjects were treated by fluoxetine and 18 by tramadol. The efficacy of treatment in the two groups showed no significant difference (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups in IELT (P > 0.05), but before-after comparisons showed a significant efficacy in the two groups. Conclusions: It was concluded that the efficacy of tramadol and fluoxetine in males with premature ejaculation are the same and both are effective. Both of these drugs are safe to treat premature ejaculation.

In other words, due to the limited budget for warehouse relocation in a supply chain, the failure probability is assessed for determining the robust decision for future supply chain configuration. Traditional solving approaches can find the failure probability in problems with small scenarios and limited dimensions, while huge number of scenarios needs to be optimized by an efficient approach in terms of accuracy in obtained solution and improving the computational time simultaneously. Hence, the tuned artificial neural network (ANN) is applied to forecast the failure probability while network's parameters and available budget are stochastic. The results show that simulation of problem using ANN can work appropriately in selecting the configuration with considerable less time consumption and forecasting error.

Given that the urban water networks with more than 30 years old have been worn and is part of the network and still have not replaced the night of exhaustion and pressure leakage is due to increased consumption. Network Management in day and night in order to pressure, pressure-reducing valve was designed and built automated. In order to reduce demand hours (night) to minimize automatically pressure and increasing pressure on consumers can be provided for the maximum allowable pressure. The pressure-reducing valve on the network's performance is such that the input by a pilot pressure to a constant pressure at the output decreases. If the pressure is 6 bars pressure-reducing valve can be input by a pilot pressure to 3 times reduced and the pressure will be night and day, 3 ti...

In order to improve the accessibility and connectivity, certain precautionary measures for strengthening and rehabilitation of the links have been taken into account in the preparedness phase. In addition, a new debris clearance scheduling model for blocked links is modeled in accordance with the rehabilitation strategies. To overcome the uncertainty in a predefined destruction scenario tree, a multi-stage stochastic programming has been applied in a real case study. The results obtained in the proposed model indicate that the redesigned network leads to better performance in dealing with evacuees’ requested relief as compared to the results obtained by the existing network. Moreover, the results clearly demonstrate the significant value of s...

Therefore, it seems that right decision making for agile and efficient management in disaster management is not negligible. Due to designed network in the past, current entities, facilities and network may not be optimal and to a great extent usable. In this paper a comprehensive model and solving approach have been proposed to redesign the relief network in dealing with the preparedness and response phases. In this regard, previous investigations on the preparedness phase have often been limited to the location of eligible facilities without considering other important factors such as current and working assets, entities and configuration. Thus, the present study proposes a reconfiguring and repositioning model in order to simultaneously assess whether existing distribution centers should remain, be consolidated or phased out as well as whether new facilities should be established and subsequently supply and demand requirements consideration. Moreover, in the proposed model, multi-stage stochastic programming has been implemented on a real data gathered by ArcGIS Software and demand scenarios derived from relevant references. The results based on a real case study in Tehran indicate definite advantages in the re-positioning or reconfiguring model compared with current configurations.

Currently, solid waste disposal mainly relies on three landfills located in the New Territories. However, the current waste treatment facilities and policies cannot appropriately control and manage increments of solid waste. The primary reason is the increased amount of municipal solid waste (MSW) caused by the growth of the population and the economy, with food waste accounting for the largest proportion of MSW in HK. The secondary reason is that the capacity of existing landfills will be exhausted in the near future as the level of waste generated continues to grow. To deal with these problems, in this paper, we propose five approaches with the aim of identifying the most sustainable strategy for efficient solid waste disposal in HK: a food waste recycling program; an MSW charging scheme; the implementation of incineration plants (i.e., waste to energy); black soldier fly bioconversion and a waste trading scheme; and black soldier fly bioconversion and a hybrid anaerobic digestion system. This is followed by a detailed demonstration of each approach, particularly focusing on the benefits, limitations, and implementation of each in the case of HK. The results of this study may shed light on how to effectively and sustainably manage the increasing amount of solid waste in HK.

This paper involved integrated assessments on GHG emissions and emergy of the life cycle for the internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric automobiles in the USA over the entire assumed fifteen-year lifetime. The hotspots of GHG emissions as well as emergy indices for the major processes of automobile life cycle within the defined system boundaries have been investigated. The potential strategies for reducing GHG emissions and emergy in the life cycle of both ICE and electric automobiles were further proposed. Based on the current results, the total GHG emissions from the life cycle of ICE automobiles are 4.48E þ 07 kg CO 2-e which is 320 times higher than that of the electric automobiles. The hotspot area of the GHG emissions from ICE and electric automobiles are operation phase and manufacturing process, respectively. Interesting results were observed that comparable total emergy of the ICE automobiles and electric automobiles have been calculated which were 1.54E þ 17 and 2.20E þ 17 sej, respectively. Analysis on emergy index evidenced a better environmental sustainability of electric automobiles than ICE automobiles over the life cycle due to its higher ESI. To the authors' knowledge, it is the first time to integrate the analysis of GHG emissions together with emergy in industrial area of automobile engineering. It is expected that the integration of emergy and GHG emissions analysis may provide a comprehensive perspective on eco-industrial sustainability of automobile engineering.

In the proposed approach, response variables in treatments combination occur with a certain probability. Moreover, we assume that each treatment has a network style. Due to the probabilistic nature of the treatment combination, the suggested approach can compute the efficiency of each treatment under the desirable reliability. The approach has been constructed based on a network data envelopment analysis and the chance constraint method. Finally, a numerical example shows applicability of the proposed method to a multi response problem. The results indicate that the proposed approach is a capable method for analyzing the best treatment and compared to other existing methods, it performs better in efficient treatment determination.

In this paper, we propose an extended relocation model for warehouses configuration in a supply c... more In this paper, we propose an extended relocation model for warehouses configuration in a supply chain network, in which uncertainty is associated to operational costs, production capacity and demands whereas, existing researches in this area are often restricted to deterministic environments. In real cases, we usually deal with stochastic parameters and this point justifies why the relocation model under uncertainty should be evaluated. Albeit the random parameterscan be replaced by their expectations for solving the problem, but sometimes, some methodologies such as two-stage stochastic programming works more capable. Thus, in this paper, for implementation of two stage stochastic approach, the sample average approximation (SAA) technique is integrated with the Bender's decomposition approach to improve the proposed model results. Moreover, this approach leads to approximate the fitted objective function of the problem comparison with the real stochastic problem especially for numerous scenarios. The proposed approach has been evaluated by some hypothetical numerical examples and the results show that the proposed approach can find better strategic solution in an uncertain environment comparing to the mean-value procedure (MVP) during the time horizon.
