Les localisations cervicales et thoraciques sont les plus fréquentes. Les localisations abdominales sont rares et peuvent simuler une néoplasie posant des difficultés diagnostiques qui peuvent conduire à une intervention chirurgicale mutilante.Nous rapportons une observation d’actinomycose colique chez un patient de 58 ans, révélée par une masse abdominale d’aspect tumoral et diagnostiquée après résection chirurgicale. L’individualisation de grains atinomycosiques était de découverte histologique, le patient fut mis sous antibiotiques avec une évolution favorable.AbstractAbdominal actinomycosis is an infrequent chronic, suppurative infection caused by the aerobic grampositive bands Actinomyces israelii. Cervical and thoracic locations are frequently reported. We report one case of abdominal actinomycosis, simulating colon cancer. the patient which was 58 year old presented with abdominal pain and a palpable mass. Surgical intervention was performed under the impression of colonic malignancy.Postoperatively, pathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of abdominal actinomycosis in which the characteristic finding of sulfur granules in the resected specimen was demonstrated. After surgery, the patient continued antibiotic treatment and had no signs of recurrence.

To describe their clinical, pathological and therapeutic characteristics. We report a series of 47 cases of Sweet's syndrome, collected in our institution between 1997 and 2011. The patient population consisted of 11 males and 36 females. The mean age was 47 years (28-74). To analyze the testicular cancer (TCa) incidence, diagnosis aspects, pathologic grade, stage, and... more To analyze the testicular cancer (TCa) incidence, diagnosis aspects, pathologic grade, stage, and survival in Tunisian men. We studied all patients who had histopathologically confirmed TCa treated in La Rabta University-Hospital between 1991 and 2010. Baseline demographic data included age at diagnosis, year of diagnosis, clinical symptoms, stage at diagnosis, histologic type, management strategies and survival were analyzed. The incidence of TCa among Tunisians is very low; we collected only 41 cases over a period of 20 years with an average incidence of 2 new cases per year. Peak age incidence was 30-49 years. Testicular swelling was the principal complaint in 25 patients. 58.5% of tumours were rightsided and 39% were left-sided. There was bilateral involvement in only one case. The mean interval between onset of symptoms and presentation was 16.5 months (1-120). Most patients presented at stages T2 and T3 (63.4% and 26.8% respectively). Amyloidosis is an abnormal extracellular deposition of insoluble proteins, which is associated wi... more Amyloidosis is an abnormal extracellular deposition of insoluble proteins, which is associated with an involvement of the gastrointestinal tract in 50 to 70% of cases. In primary amyloïdosis (light chain amyloïdosis), localized gastric involvement is a rare finding which can mimick malignancy. To elucidate the clinical, histological and therapeutic features of pseudo tumoral gastric amyloidosis via a rare report along with a review of related literatures. We report the case of a 56-year-old man, admitted with upper digestive outlet obstruction. Linitis plastica with lymph node involvement was suspected by gastroscopy, barium meal and endoscopic ultrasonography but was not confirmed by gastric biopsies. The patient was treated with total gastrectomy with lymph node dissection. Pathological examination demonstrated gastric and lymph nodes amyloidosis and no malignant tumor was found. We propose that amyloidosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of gastric tumors.

Dans cet article, nous rapportons quatre observations d’une telle association. Le diagnostic était posé sur l’étude histologique aidée par l’immunohistochimie. Il s’agit d’une tumeur de collision associant un lymphome MALT à un adénocarcinome gastrique dans trois cas et un lymphome B à grandes cellules à un carcinome superficiel de type intestinal dans un autre cas. Ces observations posent le problème de l’étiopathogénie de ces tumeurs et du rôle potentiel joué par l’Helicobacter pylori.AbstractThe synchronous development of epithelial tumours and lymphoma of gastrointestinal tract has been rarely reported in the literature. In this article, we report four cases having such synchronous association. Diagnosis was made based on the microscopic examination of surgical specimens along with immunohistochemistry. These observations further lead to the discussion of the pathogenesis of these tumours and the role of Helicobacter pylori in the development of gastric lymphoma and carcinoma.

Histological examination showed an unusual fi nding. The tumor was a ureteral localization of the PCDLBCL-LT previously diagnosed. To the best of our knowledge, this is the fi rst case of PCDLBCL-LT with ureteral spread described in the literature.

D'autre part, la plupart des séries ont suggéré que le pronostic de ces patients dépendait de celui de la tumeur vésicale. Conclusion.-Vu la fréquence assez importante de cette association tumorale et les difficultés tant macroscopiques que microscopiques de la reprise de la pièce de cystoprostatectomie, un échantillonnage extensif, voire une inclusion en totalité des prostates est discutée. Un dépistage systématique du carcinome prostatique chez tous les patients proposés pour cystoprostatectomie pourrait être proposé.
