This paper presents a model for calculating a posteriori electric field in non conducting regions... more This paper presents a model for calculating a posteriori electric field in non conducting regions in steady state AC magnetic application. The computation method used is the finite elements method in 3 dimensions. The approach is validated by calculating the equivalent impedance of a coil on which the resolution of the full Maxwell's equations can be performed.

This coupling enables to take the advantage of each method. The complex conductor geometry is achieved thanks to the PEEC method. The modeling of thin plates is taken into account thanks to an integro-differential one.

Un couplage Méthode des Moments Magnétiques (MOM) - méthode PEEC pour la résolution des problèmes... more Un couplage Méthode des Moments Magnétiques (MOM) - méthode PEEC pour la résolution des problèmes magnétoharmoniques est proposé. Grâce à ce couplage, les points forts de chaque méthode sont exploités : prise en compte efficace des conducteurs par la méthode PEEC et prise en compte des réactions d'induits (parties ferromagnétiques, blindages) par la méthode MOM. Le couplage est réalisé par l'introduction de la matrice d'impédance (calculée par la méthode PEEC dans le vide) au sein des équations à la méthode MOM. Un exemple de validation est présenté.

Recently, an homogenized model in 2D electrostatics has been proposed in order to avoid the meshi... more Recently, an homogenized model in 2D electrostatics has been proposed in order to avoid the meshing of the thin dielectric layers surrounding the conductors of transformers. The model performs a smoothing of the physical fields, which leads to an incorrect estimation of the peak values of the electric field between the conductors. This issue is critical for a correct design of the transformer insulation. Therefore, in this paper, the subproblem finite element method is employed so as to refine the homogenized model on selected areas, and recover the small scale variations of the fields.
