Professional development in domestic and foreign cultural institutions, cultural management and historical research, curatorial in visual arts, and management, conservation, protection and safeguarding the world's cultural heritage. Fellow of the Centro Mexicano de Escritores, the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (Cultural Projects Program) and the Fund for Culture Mexico/USA Rockefeller Foundation. Director of World Heritage (Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia), Second representative of Mexico to the World Heritage Committee and Cultural Focal Point to the World Heritage Centre (UNESCO). Member of the Delegations of Mexico in The Hague Convention on Armed Conflict and Illicit Trafficking (UNESCO) and the Advisory Committee of the Instituto Regional para el Patrimonio Mundial (Category 2 Center) (Zacatecas, Mexico). Individual Member of the ICOMOS Committee (Portugal) and the Red Internacional Forum UNESCO/Universidad y Patrimonio (Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain). Participant in the working group for the implementation of the "Plan Iberoamericano para reconocer, proteger y salvaguardar el patrimonio cultural" (Secretaría General Iberoamericana). Also a Member of the Scientific Committee of EnredArs Publicaciones (Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Spain), the Editorial Committee of "América Patrimonio" magazine (Santiago, Chile), and the Emblematic Society (Alcalá de Henares, Spain). I have participated in the multidisciplinary research and evaluation teams of the Technical Files for the application of sites to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Director of Cultural Heritage in Veracruz (Mexico), the Pinacoteca Diego Rivera (Instituto Veracruzano de Cultura) and the Centro Cultural El Nigromante (Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes). Curator of exhibitions for museums and galleries in Paris (France), Pontevedra (Spain), Xalapa, San Miguel de Allende and Mexico City. Author and co-author of books on Mexico and Latin America art history, cultural heritage and world heritage. I have published research papers in Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico and Spain cultural magazines and books. Prologuist and editor of books on history, art, conservation, preservation and dissemination of cultural and world heritage (Textos Dispersos Ediciones, INAH, EnredArs and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).
