Alphaville is passing by a huge demographic developing and, consequently, several big-sized buildings (commercial and residential kinds) are being constructed. Looking to this scene, the current research is about the control during the execution of big dimension slab foundation at I-Tower commercial building. Looking to this scene, the present research broaches the control during the big dimension slab foundation at I-Tower commercial building. The Geology and Geotechnical investigation has aimed, across borings, a 28.000m3 boulder, what was determining to define the right type of foundation. As long as the volume of concrete was so big, it was made a special control of it. The concrete, across its thermal dilatation coefficient, goes through expansive dimension variations when exposed to temperature action originated from hydration chemical reaction. This temperature broached aggregates temperature and room temperature, I mean, the whole process was watched since the concrete fabrication until the arriving at the construction field and its throw. This control was made aiming avoiding the concrete retraction cracks.
