The application of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) shows promise in optimizing the power demand, shaping the load variation, and increasing the sustainability of smart grids. However, no comprehensive paper has been compiled regarding the of operation of V2G and types, current ratings and types of EV in sells market, policies relevant to V2G and business model, and the implementation difficulties and current procedures used to cope with problems. This research was conducted with the aim to detect schizophrenia automatically from EEG signals u... more This research was conducted with the aim to detect schizophrenia automatically from EEG signals using machine learning algorithms. The 16 electrode EEG data were collected from the online repository where 43 schizophrenic and 39 healthy persons’ dataset is available. By applying Low Pass Filter and Total Variation Denoising method, raw EEG signals were denoised and were decomposed into beta, alpha, theta and delta waves by using Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform. To apply machine learning algorithms, five features: mean, median, standard deviation, energy and kurtosis were considered for all the four wave bands. With Linear Support Vector Machine and Random Forest classifier machine learning algorithms, 12 out of 16 channels were classified with test accuracy above 95% and F1 score above 90%. The Cognitive Radio Network can reduce spectrum scarcity problem by sharing licenced spectrum to the secondary users. The Quality of Experience (QoE) especially reliability and throughput are the major concern for the users. In this paper, a cooperative relay aided multi-carrier code division multiple access based cognitive radio network has been proposed which is expected to reduce interference and improve spectrum utilization efficiency. Here a primary transmitter utilized multiple inactive secondary relay nodes to send data to the primary receiver. At the receiving end, multi path transmission will be received and the received signals are combined through maximal ratio combining.
