Now, this paper is going to address and hopefully uncover some of the possible reasons to such fairly contemporary phenomenon of overuse of violence and erotics. Firstly, in order to better understanding of the analysis of Stanley Kubrick’s movie A Clockwork Orange from 1971, Tim Miller’s Deadpool, from 2016, and a Marvel’s comic book The Vision and the Scarlet Witch, published in 1985, theoretical background regarding the matter in question will be provided. Secondly, all material will be analysed in such a way to address perversion of the psyche, show the relation between the violence and erotics, address masculinity-violence paradigm, and stipulate the position and portrayal of women in abovementioned movies and a comic book.
