This article aims to describe the anatomy of humor exercised consistently by one of Islamic preac... more This article aims to describe the anatomy of humor exercised consistently by one of Islamic preachers and teachers from Pesantren Tebuireng, Jombang. This article employs qualitative approach. Kyai Ishaq Latif humor in his sermon analyzed by socio-linguistic perspective. This article found that the Islamic teaching containing theology, family relationship, and social interaction was delivered by him with humor such as anecdotes, acronym., codes, limerick, and satire. Humor has been developed within certain social context. Preacher use humor to be more understood by broader audiences. This article thus suggests that the usage of humor in religious sermons will generate intimacy which enable audience accepted the message without being coerced or offended or intimidated. Humor in religious sermon shows social dialect (sociolect) of the preacher that has integrated with his audiences. The implementation of online learning in accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture Ci... more The implementation of online learning in accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture Circular No. 4 of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic caused new problems among parents of grade I elementary school students in Sugihrejo village. The low participation and involvement of parents in learning assistance has resulted in 76% of 25 parents having difficulty in assisting learning numeracy materials. Training on the preparation of manual counting (ALHIMA) media is an absolute effort to improve the quality of parental learning assistance on numeracy material. The method used to achieve this goal is the service learning method. In its implementation, this service program is proven to be able to improve the quality of parent learning assistance on numeracy material which is marked by new skills that parents have, including: knowing the importance of using learning media, mastering the concept of addition and subtraction, using ALHIMA media for assistance in learning counting materia...
This article discusses the relationship between curriculum and teaching and its contextualisation... more This article discusses the relationship between curriculum and teaching and its contextualisation in learning with multicultural values. This study is very relevant considering that Indonesia is a nation that consists of diverse ethnic groups and is rich in cultural and religious differences. This anthropological inevitability requires an ability that is compatible with existing cultural realities. In this context, education plays an important role in giving birth to people who do not stutter from differences. To that end, designing a curriculum with multicultural values while translating it into the learning process is an effort to continue to be actualized. The relational model between curriculum and teaching that allows in internalizing multicultural values includes: the dualistic model, the interlocking model, the concentric model and the cycle model.

This paper aims to discuss the efforts of Chinese Muslims in practicing Islamic education in their minority communities. By using a social pedagogical approach model in Islamic education, Chinese Muslims make social and cultural issues a starting point for religious understanding. As a minority social entity, Chinese Muslims who are members of PITI (Indonesian Chinese Muslim Association), also try to transmit their Islamic knowledge not co-opted by radical Islamic religious doctrines. By using qualitative-phenomenological research methods, this study has succeeded in finding that this minority Muslim community's social pedagogy realizes by involving three elements simultaneously: teaching, acculturation, and social action in Islamic education. Through this strategy, Chinese Muslims try to become devout Muslims without reducing their cultural reality as a Chinese. In another position, the Chinese Muslim social pedagogy approach seeks to carry out the de-radicalization movement using socio-cultural instruments through academic activities in Islamic education.

So it makes perfect sense if Islam in Indonesia becomes the centre of civilization on the international scene. However, this achievement is not easy because it demands moral responsibility that Islam indeed shows its moderate and tolerant face. Why is this important? Because the entire Islamic region in the Middle East country, only shows Islam in front of conflict and war. So, the claim that the future of Islamic civilization in the world is in the hands of Indonesia is not a mere figment. For this reason, Indonesian Islam must be able to maintain and simultaneously make efforts to support the preservation of Islam that is friendly to all elements of the nation. For this reason, in this paper, the author describes how strategies so that Islam can become a value base to give birth to attitudes of moderates in the frame of Multicultural Islamic education.
