Tujuan.penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi perilaku bullying fisik pada siswa sekolah dasar dan lingkungan sekolah yang berisiko sebagai lokasi perlakuan bullying.Desain penelitian berupa survey dengan subjek siswa kelas IV-VI sekolah dasar negeri dan swasta di Kota Padang. Penelitian berlangsung pada bulan Sepetember sampai November 2016. Tehnik pengambilan sampling dilakukan dengan proporsional random sampling dengan jumlah total sampel 202 siswa. Hasil penelitian ditemukan delapan tindakan fisik yang diterima siswa sekolah dasar korban bullying yaitu : dipukul, didorong, digigit, dijambak, ditendang, dikunci di kelas, dicubit, diambil barang, dan dicakar. Bullying dapat menimbulkan efek yang serius/ negatif terhadap kesehatan mental dan kesejahteraan anak. Salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah bullying adalah dengan latihan ketrampilan asertif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh latihan asertif terhadap pencegahan bullying pada siswa SMP 28 Padang. Desain penelitian adalah Quasi eksperimen dengan jumlah sampel 81 sampel (43 Kontrol dan 38 intervensi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektivitas pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan dan kemampuan ibu dalam perawatan balita ISPA antara Puskesmas Padang Pasir dan Pauh. Metode yang digunakan adalah preeksperimental dengan pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah ibu dengan balita ISPA berjumlah 15. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk menilai perbedaan pengetahuan dan kemampuan merawat pada pretest posttest dan Mann Whitney-U untuk menilai perbandingan antar Puskesmas. Social Institution Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu (PSBGHI) is the only social institution in West Sumat... more Social Institution Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu (PSBGHI) is the only social institution in West Sumatra Province who provide social services and rehabilitation for people with mental disabilities. Persons with disabilities who are in the shelter are from various districts / cities in West Sumatra which amounted to 100 people. This orphanage is located in Kalumbuk, Padang City with an area of 5,007 m2. Since the implementation of regional autonomy, PSBGHI employees totaling 44 people either civil servants and honorarium received minimally training, seminars, even a refresher material. In this study we attempted to assess the correlation between mother's characteristic based on age, education level, occupational status, and economic status with knowledge about management of diarrhea to children under five. It has done from March 1 st-August 9 th 2004 with 97 respondents. The design was a cross sectional study with simple random sampling. Data was collected by guided interview with quisioner and analysed by distribution of frequency table and tested by chi-square method. From this study, there was 55,7 % are in old group (31-45 year's old); 45,4 % respondents had low education; 90,7 % respondents were not active; 57,7 % were poor. Generally, the knowledge of respondents about management of diarrhea to children under five 58,8 % were bad. We conclude that there was significant relation between age, education level, and economic status with knowledge about management of diarrhea to children under five. Thus, it's need to improvement of mother's knowledge by informations to the people.

This study’s aim was to describe the knowledge, attitudes, implementation towards evidence-based practice and its barriers in the Hospital. A quantitative research with descriptive approach was conducted in the Dr. M. Djamil Hospital Padang. A consecutive sampling technique was utilized with 139 respondents being selected and only 90 respondents completely filled in the questionnaires. The instruments used were Evidence-Based Practice Questionnaire (EBPQ) and BARRIERS Scale. Characteristics of respondents were 70.0% diploma education, mean (SD) age was 36.7 (7.95) years and 13.35 (8.37) years working time. Hospitalisation is often stressful for children and sometimes are not able to verbally expressed.... more Hospitalisation is often stressful for children and sometimes are not able to verbally expressed. Drawing is a non-verbal communication techniques that can be used for exploring the emotional experience of children who are hospitalised with a non-threatening way. The purpose of this study was to determine the emotional experience of school-age children through drawing on the children's ward of Dr. M. Djamil Hospital in Padang. This study used qualitative methods with phenomenological approach. The study found three main themes: (1) a variety of reasons participants about the image created, (2) participants' response to a pleasant experience, and (3) participants' response to the sad and painful experience. It can be concluded that the expression of the emotional experience of school age children who are hospitalised through the drawing can deliver their thoughts and feelings and their response to emotional experience in the hospital something that is not fun.

Puskesmas Ambacang meliputi 4 kelurahan sebagai wilayah kerjanya. Wilayah kerja Puskesmas ini berada di pusat kota dan di pinggir jalan utama sehingga beresiko terjadinya berbagai kejadian yang dapat mencederai pada balita akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas maupun kecelakaan selama berada di dalam rumah. Family involvement is one of the intervention to decrease children anxiety to hospitalization. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of family involvement intervention to children who experience the anxiety due to the hospitalization in child ward dr Rasyidin Padang. The study design is quasi-experiment, with pre-test post-test design approach without control group. The study was conducted In January until June, 2016. The sample of this study are 12 children who undergo hospitalization in child ward. Family involvement is given as intervention and it consists of 2 section. Data were collected using a questionnaire about anxiety level of children before and after intervention. Data were analyzed with using paired t-test. The results showed that the differences scores of anxiety level of children before and after family involvement intervention (p value: 0,002). Family involvement intervention can be considered as one intervention to children who experinces hosppitalization stress.

Disorders due to oral mucositis often affects the psychological and decreased quality of life of children. Therefore, It is important to determine the relationship of oral mucositis in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and quality of life related to oral mucositis. This research was descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. Respondents in this study were children with cancer who were undergoing chemotherapy in Chronic Ward Pediatric Inpatient RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The strategy used in determining the sample was consecutive sampling amounted to 132 people. Data were collected through questionnaires that Oral Mucositis Daily Questionnaire (OMDQ) and Oral Mucositis-specific Quality of Life (OMQoL). The results showed an average of 6.55 years old respondents, the majority of the male sex, and had been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. 40% Respondents had experienced severe oral mucositis (a score of 2, 3, and 4) and have mild to severe limited activity primarily eating, drinking and swallowing. The average total score of the quality of life specific-oral mucositis was 58.61. Subscale diet and swallowing occupy the lowest scoring average and below the total score were 55.00 and 55.75. There were no significant differences quality of life specific-oral mucositis between mild and severe mucositis (p> 0.05). It is expected the professional nurse can identify conditions early oral mucous membrane of cancer patients and evaluate the implementation of oral mucositis intervention through-specific quality of life assessment of oral mucositis.

Family involvement is one of the intervention to decrease children anxiety to hospitalization. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of family involvement intervention to children who experience the anxiety due to the hospitalization in child ward dr Rasyidin Padang. The study design is quasi-experiment, with pre-test post-test design approach without control group. The study was conducted In January until June, 2016. The sample of this study are 12 children who undergo hospitalization in child ward. Family involvement is given as intervention and it consists of 2 section. Data were collected using a questionnaire about anxiety level of children before and after intervention. Data were analyzed with using paired t-test. The results showed that the differences scores of anxiety level of children before and after family involvement intervention (p value: 0,002). Family involvement intervention can be considered as one intervention to children who experinces hosppitalization stress.

Disorders due to oral mucositis often affects the psychological and decreased quality of life of children. Therefore, It is important to determine the relationship of oral mucositis in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and quality of life related to oral mucositis. This research was descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. Respondents in this study were children with cancer who were undergoing chemotherapy in Chronic Ward Pediatric Inpatient RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The strategy used in determining the sample was consecutive sampling amounted to 132 people. Data were collected through questionnaires that Oral Mucositis Daily Questionnaire (OMDQ) and Oral Mucositis-specific Quality of Life (OMQoL). The results showed an average of 6.55 years old respondents, the majority of the male sex, and had been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. 40% Respondents had experienced severe oral mucositis (a score of 2, 3, and 4) and have mild to severe limited activity primarily eating, drinking and swallowing. The average total score of the quality of life specific-oral mucositis was 58.61. Subscale diet and swallowing occupy the lowest scoring average and below the total score were 55.00 and 55.75. There were no significant differences quality of life specific-oral mucositis between mild and severe mucositis (p> 0.05). It is expected the professional nurse can identify conditions early oral mucous membrane of cancer patients and evaluate the implementation of oral mucositis intervention through-specific quality of life assessment of oral mucositis.
