A raridade de profissionais capacitados na area e o custo de manter uma equipe dedicada, ainda sao exemplos de paradigmas a serem derrubados no caminho do aumento da produtividade. Este estudo tem por objetivo demonstrar a importância de um modelo estruturado de gestao da rotina para aumento do desempenho da equipe, potencializando a implantacao de projetos e resultados ao longo de toda a organizacao, de forma a justificar os investimentos na area. The role of rural extension in Brazil has been widely discussed in recent years, whether the resu... more The role of rural extension in Brazil has been widely discussed in recent years, whether the results achieved by the consequences of it work or the need for an updated methodological review for a new rural reality. In this work, I seek elements of the current relationship between what the rural extension has been offering for the farmers and what they expect of technical assistance, through the analysis of an association of producers which has sought new commercial alternatives whit support from public TARE. The search was developed with the Citrus Growers Association of São José do Hortêncio / RS (HORTENCITRUS), established in 2009 by family farmers" citrus growers of the county. This association arises fostered by the work of the organs of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension public (TARE), with the goal of seeking new commercial alternatives for the farmers, as the "Fair Market". The question was: how has arisen the association of growers of São José do Hortêncio / RS and what is the role of public TARE in this process? To answer this question, it was used a qualitative research through observation and interviews with semi-structured questions, and also literature search. The analysis revealed the role and form of operation of Regional Sectorial Chamber of Citrus From Vale do Caí, promoting collective debate of multidisciplinary teams organized around a strategic planning of the supply chain with a focus on small producers, and joining forces with interest common, organized by public TARE, allowing a regional mobilization, going further the debate and now entering the production and commercial practices. The analysis showed that the organizational model itself in cooperative and associations forms breaks local paradigms, this being the first major local barrier.
