The class projects are selected through a discussion between students and the instructor. They should stimulate students’ interests while maintaining the requirement for the course outcomes. More and more practical research projects are involved. Undergraduate students, most at junior level, gain practical experience before taking their senior design course. Graduate students use the class project to establish measurement platforms for their research project. This paper will present an example of a class project which was related to a research project.
