The journal will also publish contributions that are not expressly from the discipline of law but establishes a relation with any of the legal matters and gives it an interdisciplinary character. However, comments regarding decisions pending before any Court of Law or any other subject matter across the globe which if published might lead to Contempt of Court, if interpreted from the perspective of Indian Jurisprudence, will not be published even if the matter does not violate any of the Indian Laws or does not amount to any offense in any other laws. SCOPE The scope of this journal extends to the entire world transcending all national boundaries of the States. It is an international journal aimed at establishing a global network of research and analysis in the field of law. The medium of publication will be primarily American English subject to the majority opinion of the Board of Editors, Expert Committee, and the Board of Advisors in conformity with the Core Team including the Managing Committee.

Sex is a natural phenomenon that is essential for the continuity of the life cycle on this planet. Every living creature within the family of the sexual reproductive system follows the natural way of reproducing offspring through sex. However, the most rational creature of the planet has managed to convert rather transform this natural phenomenon into a man-made commercial venture, like prostitution, pornography, advertisements with sexual imageries, etc., where sex is bought and sold with commercial interest. With such activities, several other activities like abduction, kidnapping, harbouring, rape, abuse, etc., get associated most often to maintain the sex trade. India having a rich cultural tradition is also not an exception rather becomes a major market for the import and export of sex. NorthEastern states of India who remained in isolation for centuries possess several unique socio-political and economic conditions that make the region even more vulnerable against social menaces like sex trafficking. The paper, therefore, analyses the unique conditions of the northeastern states in India along with the various International, National, and regional laws and policies for understanding the gap between such laws and policies and the actual requirements to meet the unique situations in the northeastern region to eliminate sex-trafficking from this region.

Violence always results in various sufferings and those who suffer can rightly be termed as victims. Every violence be it physical, mental, or sexual, leaves an adverse effect on the victims. Reportedly, women and children are the common targets in any kinds of violence.In the present scenario where the rights of the accused are getting prominence under the criminal justice system, a victim should also receive considerable significance in their right to access to justice. Very often victims express their dissatisfaction for not getting proper attention as well as unsympathetic treatment during the criminal trial. On many occasion, rights of the victims are left unrepresented, as a result, majority stakeholders are deprived of their basic human right and those who show little courage to fight for the justice receives horrific experience from all corners. The Supreme Court of India assumed a stellar role through its rulings in protecting the right ofthevictims but has to make some pragmatic approach rather than an idealistic one. The international human right movement under the patronage of the United Nations has made tremendous progress to meet the challenges and raising awareness about victim's rights. Similarly, the International Criminal Court advances an innovative system of justice by taking into account the rights of victims. Adoption of the Rome Statute by the International Criminal Court embarks some ray of hope to the aspects of the victim's right.
