Ultrasonik flowmeter (USM) dengan metoda waktu tempuh merupakan flowmeter dengan akurasi terbaik ... more Ultrasonik flowmeter (USM) dengan metoda waktu tempuh merupakan flowmeter dengan akurasi terbaik diantara semua jenis USM yang ada saat ini, tetapi sangat senstif terhadap perubahan profil aliran. Profil aliran adalah distribusi kecepatan aliran fluida pada penampang melintang pipa. Penggunaan multi lintasan akustik bisa mengatasi permasalahan ini, tetapi akan memunculkan masalah baru yaitu lamanya waktu pencuplikan untuk satu sesi pengukuran, karena selama ini selalu diasumsikan selama satu sesi pengukuran tidak terjadi perubahan kecepatan aliran dan/atau tidak terjadi perubahan profil aliran. Bila ini terjadi maka hasil pengukuran tidak lagi memperlihatkan nilai yang sebenarnya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka diusulkan suatu teknik pengambilan data yang dinamakan dengan metoda waktu-tempuh simultan dengan menggunakan transduser ganda. Penelitian ini diawali dengan melakukan pengujian kinerja beberapa bentuk konfigurasi multi lintasan akustik secara numerik. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi diputuskan untuk menggunakan konfigurasi 3 lintasan akustik paralel (LIN) dengan pertimbangan faktor hidrodinamik, faktor sensitivitas orientasi, faktor rentang orientasi serta faktor kemudahan implementasinya. Selanjutnya dilakukan eksperimen dengan membuat USM dengan konfigurasi LIN disertai dengan sistem pengukuran yang menggunakan metoda waktu-tempuh simultan. Dari hasil pengukuran diperoleh nilai kecepatan aliran sebesar 3,53 m/s dengan tingkat presisi sebesar 3,10%.

The electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a promising imaging modality for early detection of ... more The electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a promising imaging modality for early detection of lung disease. Several advantages of EIT imaging, such as save, simple and low cost. However, the better reconstruction method is still under investigated. The paper proposed filtered back projection to produce an anomaly image in the lungs. The method is applied to reconstruct an image from relative potential data of expiration and inspiration and also on normal lung and lung with anomaly. The simulation shows that the reconstruction method of filtered back projection from the relative potential data of expiration and inspiration have not been able to detect any anomalies, but from the relative potential data of normal lungs and lungs with anomaly is able to detect the presence and position of anomaly although have not been able to distinguish the size of the anomaly.

Several of tomography have been developt based on some luminisences, such as electrical, acoustic, x-ray, neutron, and others. Electrical tomography can yield good contrast image, but low spacial resolution. The other way, acoustic tomography can yield good spacial resolution, but low contrast. Reconstruction image of electrical or acoustic tomography can be enhanced by combining strenght each other so that it can be yield good contrast and spacial resolution image. The used method is to combine reconstruction image by mean of linear algebra. The demagnetization factor was calculated based on the physical dimension, the self-inductance of coil without inserting the core ( _ no core L ) and by inserting the core ( core L ) of the sensor. The calculated demagnetization factor to pick-up coil configurations of 2x80 are proportional, 0.51, 0.82, 1.15, and 1.40 x10 -3 whereas the one to pick-up coil configurations of 2x20 are 1.02, 1.58, 2.23, and 2.78x10 -3 , each of which uses the tape-core layer number 1,2, 3, and 4 respectively.

Boundary Potential Distribution in Rectangular Object based on Data Collection System

One of the problems that exist in the EIT is less sensitive of boundary potential changes due to ... more One of the problems that exist in the EIT is less sensitive of boundary potential changes due to changes in the parameters object at a distance from the edge. This boundary potential distribution pattern is determined by a given current injection pattern. Thus need to know the combination of current injection patterns and methods of data collection potential corresponding boundary. The data collection system should determine the value of sensitivity and have the certain ability to detect changes in the object parameters. In this study, the data collection system will be tested on a rectangular-shaped object. Forward model analysis toward the pattern of boundary potential is conducted. The results showed that the pattern of boundary potential should be considered in reconstruction process except a large sensitivity.

Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan fuzzy inference system sebagai pengambil keputusan sehingga grafik yang dihasilkan adalah berupa status kondisi proses, yaitu: normal, warning, dan aksi. Dari hasil simulasi komputer dengan menggunakan data random, diperoleh bahwa algoritma SPC berbantukan fuzzy mempunyai probabilitas false alarm yang lebih kecil dan probabilitas deteksi kesalahan yang lebih besar dibanding grafik individual-MR. Selain itu dalam hal mendeteksi perubahan mean yang kecil dan sedang, waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh algoritma ini lebih cepat dibanding grafik individual-MR, namun tidak demikian dalam hal mendeteksi perubahan deviasi standar yang kecil dan besar.
