I'm a freelance editor and writer who bellydances and dabbles in medieval re-enactment. My chosen period of research is the Norman Kingdom of Sicily. I love material culture, and trying to figure out how people did things (what they ate and how they prepared it, what they wore and how they made it, how the women might have danced, etc.)
