present the results of mineralogical and petrographic analyses which have covered 23 ceramic samples from that area. Together with the analysis
of 6 samples from the neighbouring Republic of Moldova, the research has provided the basis for more general conclusions concerning prehistory.
The results of the analysis of ceramics technology clearly indicate the NW genesis of LBK in the territory of Romanian Moldova. They also support the
thesis that local settlement agglomerations should be dated not only to the music-note phase of this culture but also to the period contemporary
with the Želiezovce phase, despite the lack of ceramics in this style on this area.
