Carlo de Gaetano

Carlo is a designer and researcher at the Visual Methodologies Collective. He specialises in data visualisation for social research, with a focus on mapping climate change and related issues through digital images and participatory practices. From 2018 to 2020 Carlo has been working as a digital transformation designer at the Digital Society School (HvA), coaching international and interdisciplinary teams on projects about climate change solutions, climate activism and climate misinformation. Since 2012 Carlo has regularly participated as guest designer and researcher in Summer and Winter Schools organised by the Digital Methods Initiative (UvA), contributing to studies on climate visual vernaculars and climate activism.
