Sebagian kacang kedelai masih diimport sehingga harganya relatif mahal. Tepung daun indigofera yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang baik dan harga relatif murah merupakan bahan pakan yang potensial digunakan sebagai pengganti bungkil kedelai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kandungan nutrisi daging ayam Kampung Unggul Balitnak yang diberi tepung daun indigofera sebagai pengganti bungkil kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 1 April-15 Juni 2021 di Kampung Nambo Peuntas, Desa Suka Jaya, Kecamatan Taman Sari, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggantian tepung ikan dengan tepung Larva BSF (Hermetia ilucent) pada pertumbuhan ayam KUB memanfaatkan bahan pakan lokal yang dapat dilihat dari daging nirtulang, tulang, kulit dan perbandingan daging dan tulang. Penelitian ini menggunakan ayam KUB sebanyak 100 ekor. Kandang litter sebanyak 20 unit. Bahan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah DOC ayam KUB sebanyak 100 ekor dan bahan pakan yang digunakan adalah jagung, dedak, tepung larva BSF, tepung roti, CGF, bungkil kedelai, tepung ikan, minyak sayur, premix, garam, dan mineral mix. This study was aimed at improving the efficiency of blood meal (BM) use as feedstuff through the ... more This study was aimed at improving the efficiency of blood meal (BM) use as feedstuff through the application of agricultural waste absorbance and fermentation technology. Blood was absorbed by oil palm fronds and fermented by using Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (BAF) and Lactobacillus plantarum (BLP) inoculants in 0, 60, and 120 hour incubation times. Quality was assessed by using Van Soest fiber analysis and in vitro digestibility trial on the best fermented product. Results showed that there was significant interaction effect (P<0.05) of inoculant type and fermentation times on the changes in fiber fraction of BM absorbed by oil palm fronds. Inoculant types were found to give significant effects (P<0.05) on ration digestibility rate and in vitro rumen condition characteristics. This study aims to determine the value of energy metabolism in commercial chicken rations. Determination of energy metabolism was conducted by Farrel in which chickens were fed like a chicken eating chicken feed itself and previously fasted for 24 hours and still be drinking. The ration of treatment used is feed corn, feed rations BR1 and BR2. Chickens were given time for 2 hours to eat the feed later in the fasting. After fasting rationing and the chicken will issue feces, to prevent the evaporation of nitrogen in the feces spraying by the use of H2SO4 concentration 0,01%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kinerja pertumbuhan kelinci New Zealand white dengan kepadatan kandang yang berbeda. Enam puluh kelinci umur 6 bulan dialokasikan ke dalam kandang berukuran 50 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm masing-masing. Sebuah rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga perlakuan dan 4 ulangan digunakan. Perlakuan terdiri dari tiga tingkat kepadatan kandang, yaitu 4 kelinci / kandang (16 kelinci / m2) (A), 5 kelinci / kandang (20 kelinci / m2) (B), dan 6 kelinci / kandang (24 kelinci / m2) (C ). Empat ulangan dialokasikan ke masing-masing perlakuan. This odor is resulted from lipid oxidation which can be avoided by using an antioxidant. This study was aimed at assessing the effects of the inclusion of star gooseberry (Sauropus androgynus) dried leaf extract in ration on egg organoleptic quality of local duck. The study was conducted in a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replicates. Sensory test by 60 semi-trained panelists and hedonic quality and hedonic tests were conducted. Data were subjected to a Kruskal-Wallis test. Results showed that treatments gave significant effects (P <0.05) on aroma (hedonic), yolk color, and aroma (hedonic quality). Penelitian ini menggunakan 25 ayam Broiler jantan strain Cobb umur 30 hari, Penelitian ini terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dengan (KO) sebagai kontrol atau perlakuan tanpa daun sirih, (K1) pakan +anti biotik Zn-Bacitracin 50 ppm, (S1) 10 ml larutan perlakuan daun sirih per liter air minum, (S2) 20 ml larutan perlakuan daun sirih per liter air minum, dan (S3) 30 ml larutan perlakuan daun sirih per liter air minum. Effects on nutrient intake, ewe and lamb live weight changes, milk yield and composition, and nitrogen (N) balance were assessed. Nine abomasally cannulated lactating 4 year-old Coopworth ewes with mean initial weight of 66.41 ± 5.90 kg each suckling twin lambs with initial litter weight of 5.72 ± 1.22 kg were used. All ewes were fed the same basal diets in 12 equals meals at 2-hour interval.
