Heat stress happens when the body's capability of controlling its inner temperature begins to fail. Temperature rise is of the main reason led to warmness stress. This heat stress related issues are mostly being seen among urban workers and urban poor. Usually, urban areas experience higher temperature than its peri urban & rural areas. These higher temperatures have negative human health impact like respiratory disorder, cardiovascular and heat stroke as well. Therefore, it is important to lower heat risk from urban environment. Deaths & Health hazards due to heat stress can be avoid easily. We just need to identify the high heat risk areas and with the help of proper planning and prevention we can prevent health related issues. Rapid Urbanization & increase of built-up surface is one of the major causes increasing urban heat.

The problem involves optimizing a fleet of vehicles that are to serve a number of customers from a central depot. Each vehicle has limited capacity and each customer has a certain demand. Genetic Algorithms maintain a population of solutions by means of a crossover and mutation operators. For crossover and mutation best cost rout crossover techniques and swap mutation procedure is used respectively. In this paper, we focus on two objectives of VRP i.e. number of vehicles and total cost (distance). The proposed MOGA finds optimum solutions effectively.

There are various tasks of bioinformatics, like Alignment and comparison of DNA and RNA, Gene mapping on chromosomes, Protein structure prediction, gene finding from DNA sequences etc. Mapping of gene is the procedure of calculating the distance between the genes in chromosomes. In the real time application the medicine researchers goes for processing huge amount of data that may comes from different clusters or from different location. The mapping results also differ from each other with huge differences. In order to process a huge amount of data we need such a good platform which will serve without fail. Cloud computing is such a good technique that can be applied for various data as well as a huge amount of data to compare, distinguish, or simply for mapping the genes in chromosomes. In the field of cloud computing, Apache hadoop is a platform which provides a good platform for processing huge amount of data. Till now Apache hadoop is having the similar type of application in Face book & Yahoo. It carries the properties like fault tolerance which can be very useful in securing the data. In this paper we have discussed about the application of cloud technologies in Gene Mapping in chromosomes and as a real time application we have discussed about the Apache hadoop that can be applied for this purpose also.

MWs are periodically positioned using low-level optical patterning in between a dense array of NWs. A spin-on-doping technique is found to be effective for the formation of heavily doped, thin n-type shells of MWs in which the radial doping profile is easily delineated by low voltage scanning electron microscopy. Controlled tapering of the NWs results in additional optical enhancement via optimization of the tradeoff between increased light trapping (by a graded-refractive-index) and increased reflectance (by decreasing areal density of NWs). Compared to single NW (or MW) arrayed cells, the co-integrated solar cells demonstrate improved photovoltaic characteristics, i.e. a short circuit current of 20.59 mA cm(-2) and a cell conversion efficiency of ∼ 7.19% at AM 1.5G illumination.

The major objective of this training program was to introduce the emerging high potential remote sensing technique and to provide a new impulse to work in the science of contiguous narrowband spectral observations through spectroradiometer and imaging spectrometry. Case studies from experts from various institutes like ICMAM Chennai, IARI New Delhi, IIT Bombay, SASE DRDO, RMVU Kolkata and Annamalai University were arranged. The lectures and practicals were organized in a manner that helped the participants to understand the theoretical aspects of hyperspectral remote sensing, particularly imaging spectrometry, protocol of spectral signature collection both in field and laboratory conditions. The training programme was inaugurated on the morning of 18 th March, 2013 at Maitrayee Hall, IIT Kharagpur by P.

The performance criteria considered are the number of workstations, the line efficiency, the smoothness index before trade and transfer, and the smoothness index after trade and transfer. The developed genetic algorithm is compared with six popular heuristic algorithms, namely, ranked positional weight, Kilbridge and Wester, Moodie and Young, Hoffmann precedence matrix, immediate update first fit, and rank and assign heuristic methods. For comparative evaluation, 20 networks are collected from open literature, and are used with five different cycle times. All the six heuristics and the genetic algorithm are coded in C++ language. It is found that the proposed genetic algorithm performs better in all the performance measures than the heuristics. However, the execution time for the GA is longer, because the GA searches for global optimal solutions with more iterations.
