Innovation known as a new industrial revolution in the world of today is an important issue that ... more Innovation known as a new industrial revolution in the world of today is an important issue that creates awareness and thus, the countries which are aware of these issues earlier emerge as the developed countries today. In short, the awareness of the concept, which is a welfare indicator, is gradually becoming more important. In the study, the impact of innovation on South Korea's GDP is examined using 1984-2015 annual data. Variables are stabilized by unit root test and Johansen cointegration test is applied to variables to find the long term relationship between brand, utility, design, R&D and GDP. It is determined that there is a coherent vector between the variables. The Granger causality test revealed that there is a one-way causality relationship between GDP and brand, design, utility, and R&D.
