La relactacion es el proceso por el que se estimula la produccion de leche en una puerpera que no inicio o suspendio la lactancia precozmente. Son muchas las situaciones en las que la lactancia materna fracasa y consideramos interesante la exposicion de este caso clinico para conseguir la visualizacion de las mismas y concienciar a los profesionales sanitarios al respecto. Mediante este caso clinico se revisan las principales actuaciones de la matrona ante una lactancia materna que no pudo establecerse inicialmente por falta de contacto entre madre-hijo. Se puede concluir que, la relactacion es posible con un fuerte deseo materno, una estimulacion adecuada del pezon y un sistema de apoyo familiar y profesional. Female genital mutilation, condemned by all UN member countries has spread throughout the world a... more Female genital mutilation, condemned by all UN member countries has spread throughout the world as a result of migratory flows and is practiced under the guise of a custom, tradition or culture. In Spain, it is punishable as a personal injury offence under the current penal code. A clinical case study reviewed the main actions of the midwife in this kind of injury in a pregnant woman during labour. The data collected from the physical examination and the midwife's assessment according to the Virginia Henderson model are presented and a complete care plan developed. From the case it can be concluded that in the hospital area, midwives can and should reinforce and complete the work with these women and their families, of informing, educating and reinforcing the decision not to mutilate. This work should have been started in, the health centre.

One of these opportunities is the study of the relationships between inflammation, brain development and an increased risk of suffering neuropsychiatric disorders. Based on the hypothesis that neuroinflammation during early stages of life is associated with neurodevelopmental disorders and confers a greater risk of developing neuropsychiatric disorders, we propose a cohort study of SARS-CoV-2-infected pregnant women and their newborns. The main objective of SIGNATURE project is to explore how the presence of prenatal SARS-CoV-2 infection and other non-infectious stressors generates an abnormal inflammatory activity in the newborn.
