Accordingly, the study aims to investigate if this approach (learning English by using video) in university's English classes is effective and enough. To do so, study has been implemented during this semester of the academic year 2018 taking place in many Saudi universities. 100 university students were chosen to participate by answering a questionnaire, which uses as a tool of the research. The questionnaire has 20 questions of open answers and 30 questions of closed answers. Moreover, many interviews are conducted with students and teachers who experienced this new approach. Then, the collected data analyzed to evaluate the opinions of participants about using videos in learning English. An Investigation of English Spelling Achievement among Second Level Saudi Students at King Khalid University

Most of the Saudi college students’ face problems and difficulties when they try to spell English... more Most of the Saudi college students’ face problems and difficulties when they try to spell English words correctly to create a piece of writing. The main objective of this study was to examine the spelling achievement in English among college students’ at KKU whose first language is Arabic. The interviewees consisted of 25-Thirdyear students. The instrument of this research has been based on a dictation task. The results showed that: about 243 spelling errors have been found in the subjects’ responses to the spelling test. The most frequent errors were: transposition with the lowest ratio 3% of the total number of spelling errors, insertion with 17% of the total number of spelling errors, substitution errors with 29% of total errors and omission with the highest level of the total number of spelling errors, 54% of errors. The results showed that the most common spelling error made by the learners in this study was to omit one or more letters (vowels and consonants) and the second highest type was to replace one or more letters in the test item with one or more incorrect letters.

The study has been made to investigate the students’ of Sudanese university in learning English l... more The study has been made to investigate the students’ of Sudanese university in learning English language in Khartoum Locality. The researcher uses the descriptive analytical approach, which depends upon analyzing and justifying the data. This approach suits this study, which aims at investigating the obstacles facing Sudanese students in learning English language from students’ point of view, which, led to answer the questions of the study. A questionnaire and interview card were designed and administered to a sample of students, which represents approximately 12% of the population of the study from different universities to collect data, which was treated statistically using the SPSS program (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Based on the investigations, it found that it is important to give more attention in teaching Language at universities. This will produce students with good command of English; The efforts can be made to conduct training programs for teachers, workshops and increasing the number of periods for English per a week to help students in this regard. It is also found that classes need to be more student-student-student centered than teacher-centered and encourage interaction in order to facilitate communication among students in classes and variety of teaching methods ,physical facilities, technology and materials, and university resources have much better impact on students. The Sudan universities also need to pay more attention in the design of curriculum to enhance learning English Language.

The vocal communication has being one of the comfortable modes of communication, speech has been used for computer human interface. The automatic speech recognition has been the active field of research for more than five decades. The Tamil speech recognition has its own challenge, because of the large character set, high grammatical rules, and varied accents. Many research works have been carried out in Tamil speech recognition in the fields like varied recognition units, segmentation of the speech into subword units, designing the language model and designing the decoder etc. The Tamil speech recognition based research needs more enrichment as the English language. The size of the dataset of the word based speech recognizer will be more as the recognition unit is the whole word itself. Data mining based classification of the dataset to improve the performance of the speech recognizer is proposed in this paper.

Among them, lung cancer, breast cancer, diagnosis of heart, and brain tumor. In this context, the machine learning techniques have been successfully used to solve several problems in different fields including medical imaging diagnosis. In this paper, investigates several articles related with the implementation of machine learning techniques for medical imaging diagnosing. Several research studies were selected for analysis and diagnosis between 2005 and 2018. It will give a concise introduction to the most important topics of machine learning techniques; like Decision Tree (DT), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Naive Bayes (NB). Also, it attempts to find the most efficient techniques used for medical diagnosing.

The Learners and content are same in the educational system or similar courses but the teaching methodologies are differing one with another. The determinations of teaching methodologies are based on the factors related to that particular model or subject. The learning model influencing determinations are made by the surveys, analysis and observation of data to maximize the learning outcome.
