From day to day, week to week there are bound to be changes both individually and in groups such as social change. Both from the economic, cultural, political and educational aspects. The changes that occur are not only for the better but also in the opposite direction. How to deal with these changes. What can help to deal with social change. Through education, of course, it can prepare human resources to deal with the changes that have occurred. The purpose of writing this article is to know and understand how important the role of education is in dealing with and preparing for the process of social change that occurs. The approach used in this article is a qualitative approach with literature study data collection techniques, such as scientific papers, journals, theses and so on. Literature study is by understanding and examining various scientific papers that are relevant and related to the focus of the discussion. From various sources obtained and has resulted in an understanding that education is a very important thing. The important role of education in the process of social change is to equip and prepare to be better and face or overcome various problems that occur as a result of social change.
