In Western civilization, secularism became way of life and the soul for its dynamics, especially when the Church began to show his theological problematics. That's because modern people believes, inside of secularism a conformity with time character are always changing, also the freedom guarantees the advancement and development of life. The doctrine was originally born and developed in the West, unwittingly has now entered into the realm of public life almost all Muslims. The Religion which basically used to guide people to goodness, today marginalized only in the realm of religion, so the social life is no longer lean and rely on religious values. This causes the ethics, science, morals, values , and even truth based solely on human judgment, or by mutual agreement without involving the role of revelation. Thus, no longer emphasize the existence of God, in the sense that there is no longer the intervention of God. So is practically anti-God, or also called practical atheism. Considering the impact of the doctrine of secularism is very dangerous to people's lives, and for the establishment of an Islamic social order, so in this short paper will be presented the problems inherent in the doctrine of secularism, and their impacts arising from the application of this doctrine. In this case, the writer attempted to analyze the thought of Harvey Cox, and compared with existing concepts in Islam.
