The implementation research reported here studies the dynamic of the implementation of adapted Le... more The implementation research reported here studies the dynamic of the implementation of adapted Lesson Studies (LSa) in France, a process initiated in 2016-2017 at the IREM of Rouen. Drawing in particular on the systemic and ecological approach offered by the anthropological theory of the didactic, we show how a hybrid object combining the LS and the IREM cultures of teacher professional development has emerged and consolidated. We identify an original, essentially bottomup dynamic that exploits curricular and institutional changes, and mobilises an increasing diversity of contexts and actors. We question its potential and its limitations, in the light of the current state of implementation research, and reflect on the most appropriate models for it.

International audienceLa didactique des mathématiques a émergé comme champ scientifique dans la d... more International audienceLa didactique des mathématiques a émergé comme champ scientifique dans la deuxième moitié du 20e siècle, en revendiquant l’importance épistémologique de ses liens avec les mathématiques, mais en affirmant aussi la nécessité de s’émanciper des discours existant sur l’enseignement des mathématiques, pour comprendre les processus d’enseignement et apprentissage de cette discipline et fonder l’action didactique. Au fil de son développement, la question des rapports entre mathématiques et didactique des mathématiques et, avec elle, celle des rapports entre communautés didactique et mathématique, s’est régulièrement reposée, donnant lieu à des débats souvent vifs. Que retenir de cette histoire et où en sommes-nous aujourd’hui ? Dans ce texte, nous essayons de répondre à ces questions en croisant nos expériences et visions respectives

I first briefly present the approach I propose considering education systems as complex dynamic systems and the main theoretical elements I will rely on, offered by the Anthropological theory of the didactic and theecological perspective underlying it. This text originated in a lecture given at the second congress of the Anthropological Theory of D... more This text originated in a lecture given at the second congress of the Anthropological Theory of Didactics, which was held in Uzes in October 2007. It focuses on the relationships and possible connections between that theory and other theoretical approaches. It begins with a description of the context for this study and of the way the didactic work on relationships and connections has been organized. The presentation is then structured around two dimensions of this work: on the one hand, the exploitation of scale differences and complementarities; on the other, the exploitation of shared concerns. In each case, the reflection is based on the retrospective analysis of research projects I have been involved in since the early 1990s. In the conclusion, I try to adopt a more general perspective by asking about the potential contribution of this particular study to the more general issue of relationships and connections between theoretical frameworks.
