The participating teachers were able to complete the survey on the following components namely, technology knowledge, content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, technological pedagogical knowledge, technology and pedagogy and content knowledge, and the mathematics achievement level of learners. This study employed descriptive-correlational design to describe the variables and the relationship among them. The results revealed that teachers have high knowledge on the seven components of TPACK and obtained highest average on the technological pedagogical knowledge directly proportional with the mathematics achievement level of the learners. Though teachers showcasing their mastery level of teaching, still they need the support of technology to address the immediate concerns in dealing with the new normal. Thus, teachers may be encouraged to attend conferences, seminar-workshops, and training related to technology specifically training on technology applications that promotes easy techniques in solving word problems in primary grade mathematics.

The research findings indicate that administration, mission, and planning are the highest-performing dimensions, followed by operations and student opportunities. However, curriculum, faculty and staff development and rewards, research and scholarship, and outreach and service demonstrate regular performance. The qualitative analysis reveals several important conclusions. Firstly, the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO) of the HEIs align with sustainability commitments. Secondly, these institutions prioritize employee involvement in decision-making, provide appropriate status and benefits, and shape academic disciplines based on core values, showing engagement with social and ecological systems. Thirdly, only a small percentage of faculty members focus on teaching or researching sustainability issues. Additionally, participants ackn...

A total of 63 teachers and 242 learners participated in the study, which used a descriptive survey design and questionnaires to collect data. Results showed that teachers had moderate confidence in technology operations and concepts, while learners displayed slight confidence in creativity and innovation, communication and collaboration, and critical thinking. Learners also perceived all external challenges, such as infrastructure, cost, and access to resources, as moderately challenging. The study found that teachers needed more training in device operations and understanding concepts to better teach students. The researchers recommended that teachers should model the use of technological devices, encourage students to work together and share resources, and incorporate the us...

The research employed a descriptive correlational research design and gathered data on demographics, motivation, perceptions, effectiveness of teaching methods and strategies, cultural competencies, and critical thinking skills using a survey questionnaire. The results revealed that most participants were female and were motivated to learn Dutch for academic or professional reasons. Although the students had a positive perception of learning Dutch, they faced significant challenges such as limited resources and materials, qualified and trained instructors, limited student interest, and difficulty in learning the language. The study highlights the importance of changes in language policies to promote multilingualism and linguistic diversity, considering learners' linguistic backgrounds and needs in langu...

The study focuses on enhancing mathematics performance, addressing teaching challenges, and emphasizing real-life applications of trigonometry. Specifically, the competencies identified as least developed include effectively illustrating the six trigonometric ratios and accurately determining the trigonometric ratios of special angles. The study utilizes the combined Mean Percentage Score (MPS) to identify the least-learned skill and to inform the creation of the MMLMs. The developed MMLMs, named "Wheel of the Trigonometric Values," undergo validation by usability and content experts. The content validity criteria, including alignment and organization, demonstrate high mean scores, indicating the suitability of the MMLMs for Grade 9 Math. Similarly, the usability validation criteria, such as &q...

Literature suggests that too much workload for teachers may affect their teaching performance. In addition, work motivation is another factor affecting teachers’ performance, with studies suggesting that those who have high motivation also have the driving mechanism to accomplish tasks. Considering the challenging tasks teachers face on daily basis, this study aims to examine how workload and motivation influence teacher performance. Using descriptive-correlational research, a survey was conducted to 45 teachers of Butuan Central Elementary School to determine the influence of their workload and level of motivation on their performance. Results showed that 62% of the participants have an ideal workload of 2,400 minutes per week and only 29% are overloaded. In terms of motivation, results showed that the participants’ level of motivation is highly observed (...

The results revealed that most elementary school teachers are continuing their graduate studies in masters and even in a doctorate degree. As to the teachers' professional growth and advancement which manifests as highly proficient teachers consistently displaying a high level of performance in their teaching practice which manifests the in-depth and sophisticated understanding of the teaching and learning process. However, teachers were given limited exposures to pieces of training related to research resulting in only meager numbers were able to conduct research such as science investigatory project (SIP), action research, strategic intervention materials (SIM), and improvised materials either presented in at most national level and/or published in non-refereed journals. The developed instructional materials were utilized in teaching. The IPCRF of the teachers showing outstanding performance represents an extraordinary level of achievement and commitment. Results also revealed that there is no significant relationship between professional growth and advancement and their teaching performance. Moreover, predicting teaching performance has no significant influence on the professional growth and advancement of elementary school teachers.

This research applied descriptive method. The subjects of this research are the teachers in selected public and private elementary schools of Agusan del Norte, Caraga Region, Philippines. The study revealed that, teachers are adaptive and receptive to change in this new normal. They see themselves as facilitators of learning and ensure flexibility in dealing with student’s need. In terms of preference of learning modalities, most teachers opted online teaching followed by the blended teaching, and modular teaching as the least preferred modality. The results of the study recommends that teachers must be given ample time to enroll short courses and sufficient trainings in all learning modalities. Aside from that, parents and other stakeholders must be oriented of the changes on the educational setting in this new normal. The learning materials produced in the new normal class (i.e. videos, modules, learning activity sheets) must be kept and improved for future use.
