One such feature is that things have parts; in other words, composite being exists. I shall argue that the existence of composite being is a rational ground for believing in God’s existence.

I take it that one of philosophy’s chief intentions is to rationally examine our usually unquesti... more I take it that one of philosophy’s chief intentions is to rationally examine our usually unquestioned beliefs by which navigate the world. Thus, it is fitting for philosophy to investigate our beliefs concerning how we spend money on food. In this vein, I intend argue for two propositions: first, that ethical veganism is true, and second, that it is consistent with Christianity.

This paper has two halves: the first half shall paint an Old Testament biblical theological sketch of Babylon, and the second half shall examine how these images are picked up in the New Testament, and specifically in Revelation 18.

Jesus' cry of dereliction from the cross ("My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?") is examine... more Jesus' cry of dereliction from the cross ("My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?") is examined from a theological perspective. I argue that the one person, Jesus Christ, according to his humanity, endured a physical and spiritual death in place of sinners as their covenant head, in order that they may share in his death and eternal life. And I suggest that Jesus’ spiritual death consisted in a privation of knowledge of God, which transpired due to the mutability of his human nature, which was enduring the destructive effects of sin.
