This research is research that examines in more depth how the teaching and learning process is ca... more This research is research that examines in more depth how the teaching and learning process is carried out by teachers at UPT SDN 066650 Medan. Teachers are required to master eight basic teaching skills, namely: 1)opening and closing lesson skills, 2) explanation skills,3) variation skills, 4) questioning skills, 5) reinforcement skills, 6) class management skilss,7) group teaching skills small and individual, 8) skills in guiding small group discussions. Therefore, researchers tried to examine whether teachers implemented the eight basic teaching skills. This type of research is qualitative research-case study. The results of the research show that the eight basic teaching skills have almost implemented these basic teaching skills.

This research aims to analyze school cultural factors at the Santo Thomas 2 Medan Catholic Private Elementary School. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach, with data collection in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that so far the implementation of school culture at the Santo Thomas 2 Medan Catholic Private Elementary School has been implemented well. There are several things that can support the successful implementation of school culture, including the existing infrastructure at the Santo Thomas 2 Medan Catholic Private Elementary School which is quite complete and adequate, the role of parents who provide support in the form of material support (students' needs) and non-material support (in the form of love, attention, responsibility, enthusiasm and motivation) for students, by creating a conducive environment can be a supporting factor in the successful implementation of school culture, forming disciplined and focused school management can support the success of business culture, the attitude of students who are active in carrying out activities that blend school culture and the attitudes of teachers who have discipline and responsibility in implementing school culture.
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari rendahnya keterampilan membaca siswa yang masih tergolong r... more Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari rendahnya keterampilan membaca siswa yang masih tergolong rendah khususnya siswa kelas III rata-rata sudah dapat membaca dengan lancar, namun ketika ketika mereka diajak untuk mengasah kemampuan membaca ketingkat lebih tinggi seperti membaca intensif, mereka kesulitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran melalui strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) Berbantuan Kartu Kata terhadap aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa serta keterampilan membaca intensif siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD Negeri 10 Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Jaya berjumlah 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) dengan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) Berbantuan Kartu Kata dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Pada siklus I diperoleh nilai persentase 80% (kategori sangat baik) dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai persentase 94,28% (kategori sangat baik). Aktivitas siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) Berbantuan Kartu Kata juga dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Pada siklus I memperoleh nilai persentase 76,33% (kategori baik), dan pada siklus ke II meningkat menjadi 87,27% (kategori sangat baik). Hal belajar siswa pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 70,35, persentase ketuntasan 40% dengan jumlah siswa 8 orang siswa tuntas dan 12 orang siswa belum tuntas. Sedangkan pada siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 82,95, persentase ketuntasan 100% dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang siswa tuntas, berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan maka keterampilan membaca intensif siswa dapat dikatan meningkat karena nilai ketuntasan belajar melebihi nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (75%) atau mencapai 100%.

However, there are still many teachers who cannot or are still confused in implementing or implementing the 2013 Curriculum in learning. So that learning has meaning, teachers must have skills in teaching both skills in applying learning models and learning media that are close to the students' environment. As for what can be done so that the learning process is fun and can improve learning outcomes and the activeness of students in expressing opinions and asking questions related to the teaching material presented, the right model is needed in the learning process. There is a learning model that can be used in the learning process, namely the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results of research conducted in the VA class of SD St. Thomas 5 Medan in the 2022/2023 learning year, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning by using the Creative Problem Solving learning model on the theme of Our Friends Environment with the sub-theme of Humans and the Environment in the VA class of SD St. Thomas 5 Medan in the 2022/2023 learning year is categorized as good. it can be seen from the results of students' learning outcome improvement in cycle I obtained as much as 68% of the good category and in cycle II it increased to 90% of the very good category.

This research was carried out to discover how Class Teacher Learning Communication With Class VI Students. The research method used is a qualitative method with the approach in this study is a case study approach to produce descriptive data in the form of written or oral words from the subject/actors and behaviors that can be observed with the aim of knowing deeply and trying to find the underlying meaning regarding Class Teacher Learning Communication with Students. Learning communication is a reciprocal relationship between teachers (communicator) who deliver messages to students ( comunicant) as recipients of messages through media that accumulate certain effects. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data display and verifiying. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that in general Class Teacher Learning Communication With Class VI Students SD N 6 Onanrunggu is not yet maximum.

The research method used is the experimental method. The research population was 84 fourth-grade students from 3 classes at Free Methodist 2 Private Elementary School Medan in the academic year 2022/2023. The sampling technique used a purposive sample and the sample used was class IV C, which consisted of 30 students. In this study using quantitative methods, the population of this study was the entire fifth grade of SD 177055 Sigalogo. Sampling using simple random sampling and the sample used was 30 students. The results of this study indicate that character education affects student learning motivation. To test the hypothesis, the hypothesis test used is the t-test. The results showed that character education (X) has an average of 80.13 which is interpreted as high and learning motivation (Y) has an average value of 78.13 which is interpreted as high. Informan dalam wawancara melibatkan 8 orang dimana 3 orang menjadi informan kunci yaitu siswa yang bermain game online, 3 orang tua, 2 teman bermain game online dan 1 guru. Untuk mengetahui kebiasaan siswa bermain game online, peneliti melakukan observasi langsung dan melakukan wawancara. Penelitian dalam artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik. Populasi penelitian melibatkan 31 siswa kelas III SD Negeri 038095 Barisan Sirait kecamatan Siempat Nempu Hilir kabupaten Dairi. Pengambilan sampel dengan mengunakan purposive sample. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pengujian korelasi dapat dilihat pada nilai koefesien korelasi sebesar 0,991 artinya (0,991) > (0,355) maka diterima. This article refers to the analysis of learning guidance on learning difficulties of fourth-grade... more This article refers to the analysis of learning guidance on learning difficulties of fourth-grade students at SDN 091377 Purbatua Rambah in terms of qualitative methods and a case study approach to produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from the subject and behaviour that could be observed to find out in detail. This is aimed to find out in-depth and find out the implementation of learning guidance on students' learning difficulties. The informants in the study involved 5 informants in which one class representative teacher or supervisor was the key informant, two students who had learning difficulties were studied, one principal, and one class teacher. To find out the learning guidance implementation on students' learning difficulties, the researchers observed the participant, in-depth interviews, and documentation. After the researchers conducted interviews, the researchers obtained that the implementation of guidance on students' learning difficulties was carried out by the class representative teacher or supervisor teacher. The researchers analyzed students' learning difficulties when students were inside and outside the classroom. When in the classroom, the teacher guided the students who have learning difficulties by telling students to sit in the front seat in order to be close to the teacher, then the teacher could pay more attention. When outside the classroom or during break time the teacher invited the students who have learning difficulties to come with the teacher to the office. And the students' break time was used by the teacher to guide students to learn the material that students have not understood yet when studying in class. Learning guidance was only carried out during school hours and learning guidance was not a school program.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata tertulis atau lisan dari subyek atau aktor dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam dan berusaha menemukan makna yang mendasarinya mengenai minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika.
