Mead today; (b) that of being a good preparation for understanding the deep implications of the complexity of Meadian interactionism; (c) correlating the first two aspects, we are prepared to see what pretentions we have to rise in restating his perspective;
(2) - The reafflrmation of the Meadian interactionism beyond the classical symbolic approach, into an extended and deepened new scientific perspective.

Man as an autonomous spiritual, psychological and biological entity is in the same time (1) a phe... more Man as an autonomous spiritual, psychological and biological entity is in the same time (1) a phenomenon by itself, still having unknown and unquantifiable dimensions of existence and (2) more or less the result of a long chain of multi-layer interactions. These interactions take place into a cosmo-geo-bio-social framework, on a predetermined anatomical and physiological structure, developed on genetic basis, regulated and maintained by neuroendocrine mechanisms. From this perspective, the dialogue between the multi-millenary medical expertise and Western one becomes relevant for the study and practice of psychiatric nursing. Traditional Medicine is by itself transdisciplinary and integrative in its approach bringing to the world of research the long tested benefits of a longitudinal study involving a model of man-nature-cosmos interaction (such as Taoism, Yoga, Ayurveda, Hesychasm, etc). This correlation is a foundational experience for the deepening of the understanding regarding the personality and individuality formation, maturation and psycho-social dynamics of the individual. The dynamics of health as center of the qualitative prosperity of the human species has to be oriented according to the complexity given by the above mentioned framework. From this point of view, we can determine very important elements regarding the dynamics of the depressive disorders of the individual: (1) the individual bears a social programming according to which he will interprete all the data of the surrounding reality, of its " corectness " /depth depending the capacity of administering his own existential crisis which he passes through; (2) the individual is an entity that lives his life through a continuous " mechanism " of generating objectives and purposes without which he cannot find his place (" a purpose driven being " – G.H. Mead, 1930), motivation being a key factor in the stimulating and focusing of the psycho-biological resources into a given direction but, being often socially and psychologically divorced from the cosmo-geo-biological context of his existence, he finds himself into a dead end; (3) the autonomy and capacity of self-administering an existential crisis goes up only in the measure in which the psychological maturation of the individual is correlated with getting a wider and deeper understanding of the life foundations (aspect which does not automatically overlap the biological age).

The scientific advancement of both theoretical and practical therapeutic knowledge requires a widening of perspective in order to comprehend the vast and deep human phenomenon. In this context any reductionist approach becomes not only ineffective but also dangerous. To avoid the perils of limited segmented knowledge, the energetic therapy is called to integrate the informational, energetic and physical levels of medical research into a coherent and viable unity focused on the anthropological structure and dynamics of the human being. By simultaneously using the enormous knowledge and potential accumulated in generations by the spiritual practice and the contemporary scientific investigation methods, the actual possibilities of understanding and treating the human individual are pushed forward significantly.
