The article examines the differences and interrelationships of value and life-meaning orientation... more The article examines the differences and interrelationships of value and life-meaning orientations in adolescents with different levels of information awareness. The information awareness of adolescents is considered as the leading factor determining the features of the interpretation of information. The study sample consisted of 70 adolescents aged 15 to 17 years, 40 of them girls and 30 boys. The study was conducted on the basis of secondary schools in Rostov-on-Don. The research methods were the survey method, diagnostic methods, and statistical methods. According to the results of the study, the levels of information awareness of adolescents were identified, differences in terminal and instrumental value orientations among adolescents with different levels of information awareness, as well as the relationship of values with the level of information awareness were revealed. The conclusions can be used in the development of thematic correctional and developmental programs for working with adolescent students.

The purpose of this article is to research the manifestations of clipped thinking in students whe... more The purpose of this article is to research the manifestations of clipped thinking in students when reading scientific texts in the educational process. The study involved 42 students in 2-4 courses studying in the direction of "psychological and pedagogical education" at the Taganrog Institute of A.P. Chekhov. To determine the severity of clipped thinking, we used an experimental survey methodology. Based on the material of students' work with a psychological text, the article examines the peculiarities of students' perception and understanding of certain provisions of the text, depending on the degree of severity of the indicators of clip thinking as a cognitive style, characterized by the efficiency of processing information of a significant volume, areflexia, and insufficient criticality. The study revealed that with insufficient comprehension of the text, some students tend to intuitively use the protective mechanism of avoidance, reducing the assessment of some provisions of the text. Keywords: clip thinking; cognitive style; non-critical reading; reflexive reading; text comprehension.

The fundamental principles of thinking style concept by A. Belousova, according to which the thinking style is determined by the dominance of a person's function in the structure of thinking activity during the problem solving, are covered. In accordance with A. Belousova's ideas that the collaborative thinking activity as a self-organizing system is carried out by means of functions assumed by each participant: function of generating ideas, the function of selection (review and evaluation of information), functions of sense transfer and function of implementation. Thinking of adult, acting as a complex self-organizing system, combines the same functions: generation, selection, sense transfer and implementation. In this connection, we believe that the thinking style is defined as a characteristic set of functions actualized by a person in different situations of the problem solving. Domination of generation function determines the development of initiative thinking style, selection-critical, sense transfer-administrative, implementation-practical. The results of testing the reliability and validity of a new questionnaire for the thinking style diagnostics on a representative sample of Russians are given. The author's version of the questionnaire is presented.

На сегодняшний день в институте семьи появляются проблемы, обусловленные снижением ее воспитательной роли, усилением социокультурного разрыва между старшими и младшими поколениями, недостаточной психолого-педагогической компетентностью родителей, поэтому особенно остро встает вопрос о выявлении трудностей детско-родительских отношений. Нами с октября 2020 по март 2021 года в дистанционном и очном форматах было проведено анкетирование 612 родителей (7 % отцов и 93 % матерей) из различных регионов России, имеющих детей от 2 месяцев до 18 лет, с целью выявления ключевых проблем детско-родительских отношений в период младенческого, младшего ясельного, дошкольного, младшего, среднего и старшего школьного возрастов. Для обработки данных использовались частотный, сравнительный, корреляционный анализы и описательная статистика. Результаты исследования показали, что отцы сталкиваются больше всего с трудностями, связанными с взаимодействием подростков с окружающим миром и определением в нем своих границ, а матери-с плохой успеваемостью в начальной школе и эмоциональным состоянием у детей подросткового возраста. Родители с высшим образованием чаще отмечают различные трудности, чем родители с неполным высшим или со средним профессиональным. Жизнь ребенка в полной семье, несмотря на участие в воспитании обоих родителей, характеризуется определенными проблемами взросления. Выявлены положительные корреляционные связи между различными трудностями детско-родительских отношений. Знания о самых распространенных и актуальных проблемах взаимоотношений родителей и детей в современной семье, представленные в статье, можно использовать в качестве информационных материалов для родителей, детей, педагогов, психологов, педагоговпсихологов для работы по преодолению кризисных и трудных ситуаций в семье.

Наркотизация населения России, в частности, представителей молодежной среды является актуальной проблемой, находящейся на контроле у государства. Стремительный рост наркотизации юношеского контингента требует системного анализа причин его раннего развития, изучения критериев и показателей оценки готовности личности к употреблению наркотиков, разработки программ по предупреждению наркозависимости в подростковом возрасте. Цель. Определение особенностей психологической предрасположенности юношей к пробам психоактивных веществ на примере анализа личностного профиля теста методики многостороннего исследования личности (ММИЛ). Ход исследования. Исследование проводилось в период с 2008 по 2010 гг. на базе средних общеобразовательных школ, кадетских корпусов, средних профессиональных учебных заведений и вузов г. Ростова-на-Дону и Ростовской области. Выборка составила 338 человек (юноши от 15-16 до 22-23 лет, средний возраст 17-18 лет). Оценка сообщаемой абитуриентами информации по факту наличия/отсутствия проб психоактивных веществ (ПАВ) проводилось с учетом результатов психофизиологического исследования с применением полиграфа. Результаты. Результаты теста ММИЛ были подвергнуты статистическому анализу по непараметрическому критерию Манна-Уитни, а также однофакторному дисперсионному анализу. Согласно результатам исследования, показатели шкалы F в профиле ММИЛ у юношей с опытом пробы ПАВ имеют статистически значимое повышение (р=0,008), по сравнению с лицами, не пробовавшими ПАВ. Однофакторный дисперсионный анализ шкалы F-ММИЛ не показал статистически значимого результата различия (р=0,128). Выводы. Авторы предлагают рассматривать повышение шкалы F в профиле ММИЛ как показатель индивидуальной предрасположенности к пробам ПАВ, однако не рассматривать повышение ее показателей в качестве причины, оказывающей влияние на первичные пробы ПАВ в юношеском возрасте. Полученные результаты могут быть использованы практическими и клиническими психологами при работе с подростково-юношеским контингентом. Background. The increase in drug use in the population of Russia and representatives of the youth in particular is a vital issue that is controlled and monitored by the federal state. The rapid rise in drug use in young citizens requires a systematic analysis of the causes, study of criteria and assessment of predisposition for drug use, and also the development of programs to prevent drug addiction in adolescents. Objective. Determination of the psychological predisposition of young men to psychoactive substances using the personality profile of the Multidisciplinary Method of Personality Inventory (MMPI). Research Progress. The research was conducted between 2008 and 2010 on the basis of secondary comprehensive schools, cadet corps, secondary professional educational institutions and universities in Rostov-on-Don and the Rostov region, Russia. The sample included 338 males from 15-16 to 22-23 years old, whose average age is 17-18 years. The evaluation of information reported by applicants on the fact of presence / absence of psychoactive substance samples was made based on the results of the psychophysiological test using a polygraph.Research Results. The results of the MMPI test were statistically analyzed according to the nonparametric Mann-Whitney test, and to a single-factor analysis of variance. The research results show that the scores of the F-scale in the MMPI profile of young males who used psychoactive substances reveal a statistically significant increase (p = 0.008), compared to those who did not use psychoactive substances. The single-factor analysis of the F-MMPI scale did not show a statistically significant difference (p = 0.128). Conclusion. The paper proposes to consider an increase in the F-scale in the MMPI profile as an indicator of individual predisposition to use psychoactive substances, but not to consider an increase in its indices as a cause that affects primary psychoactive substances in adolescence. The results obtained can be used by practical and clinical psychologists when working with adolescents and youths.

Such studies had established the fact of the determining influence of personality traits of the participants on the collaborative thinking activity. In our study, we examined the personality traits of preschoolers as participants of collaborative thinking activity. The study allowed us to compose personality profiles of preschoolers on the basis of psychological typology of C. Jung, and also to study the personality traits of preschoolers, which can cause difficulties in communication (aggression, conflict, negativism, asociality, isolation).

The theoretical foundation of this research is Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework, according to which online teaching is realized through social presence (students’ interaction), teaching presence (student-teacher interaction) and cognitive presence (student-content interaction). This quantitative research was conducted in six countries: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Romania and Russia, and the answers were received from 808 students. At all participating faculties, online teaching was applied during the observed period, and in almost 80% of cases it was realized in full or to a greater extent than in in-person classes. Such an idea of thinking allows us to consider the specific components of thinking involved in its self-organization when processing arrays of information. This is of particular interest for improving tactical and strategic training methods. The main theories of self-organization are described and analyzed. Background. The increase in drug use in the population of Russia and representatives of the youth in particular is a vital issue that is controlled and monitored by the federal state. The rapid rise in drug use in young citizens requires a systematic analysis of the causes, study of criteria and assessment of predisposition for drug use, and also the development of programs to prevent drug addiction in adolescents. Objective. Determination of the psychological predisposition of young men to psychoactive substances using the personality profile of the Multidisciplinary Method of Personality Inventory (MMPI). Research Progress. The research was conducted between 2008 and 2010 on the basis of secondary comprehensive schools, cadet corps, secondary professional educational institutions and universities in Rostov-on-Don and the Rostov region, Russia. The sample included 338 males from 15-16 to 22-23 years old, whose average age is 17-18 years. The evaluation of information reported by applicants on the fact of presence / absence of psychoactive substance samples was made based on the results of the psychophysiological test using a polygraph.Research Results. The results of the MMPI test were statistically analyzed according to the nonparametric Mann-Whitney test, and to a single-factor analysis of variance. The research results show that the scores of the F-scale in the MMPI profile of young males who used psychoactive substances reveal a statistically significant increase (p = 0.008), compared to those who did not use psychoactive substances. The single-factor analysis of the F-MMPI scale did not show a statistically significant difference (p = 0.128). Conclusion. The paper proposes to consider an increase in the F-scale in the MMPI profile as an indicator of individual predisposition to use psychoactive substances, but not to consider an increase in its indices as a cause that affects primary psychoactive substances in adolescence. The results obtained can be used by practical and clinical psychologists when working with adolescents and youths.

In our study, we examined the personality traits of preschoolers as participants of collaborative thinking activity. The study allowed us to compose personality profiles of preschoolers on the basis of psychological typology of C. Jung, and also to study the personality traits of preschoolers, which can cause difficulties in communication (aggression, conflict, negativism, asociality, isolation).

The theoretical foundation of this research is Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework, according to which online teaching is realized through social presence (students’ interaction), teaching presence (student-teacher interaction) and cognitive presence (student-content interaction). This quantitative research was conducted in six countries: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Romania and Russia, and the answers were received from 808 students.
