However, there is a problem in translating this concept into reality due to the difficulties of coordinating all communication tools in one program. The advances in communication technology threatens advertising agencies working in the Egyptian market, as the future of communications tends to be specialized and the need for coordination between communication agencies became essential. Thus there is a need for a new organisational structure for agencies that reflects these changes, This paper proposes the viable system model (VSM) developed by Stafford Beer as such a structure. The VSM will help organisations discover and solve their problems to remain viable and successful in the future, It also provides a framework for better coordination between communication agencies to maintain successful IMC campaigns.

As a consequence, the structure and implementation of courses in mathematical modelling is probably more reflective of the designer's own personal concept than with other subject areas in the numerate sciences. During the last couple of years development has been proceeding on an MSc course in mathematical modelling. In that time the course aims and structure have evolved quite substantially and the paper considers a number of the problems associated with the course development.

APHIDS (A Program to Help lnteractively with Discrete Simulation) has been specifically designed with those inexperienced at system modelling in mind. As such, the package gently steers the user through the model definition stage of his problem and also provides a variety of output modes. APHIDS may be used at a number of different "complexity" levels reflecting the interests, abilities and needs of the user. The package is written almost entirely in ANSI minimal BASIC and, currently, has been implemented on at least two interactive minicomputer systems.

It then suggests, using examples from the Arts, Physics and Neuroscience, that the current weltanschauung is gradually adopting a systems view. Economic theory provides a map for human behaviour but can never replicate the whole. The map is not the territory. The paper then critically evaluates the effects of a systems weltanschauung on Economic theory and practice. The current age is strongly connected with environmental issues. The attitudes, values and morality of Gen Z (people born after 1995) are very different to those of previous generations. Gen Z demands a stronger ethical/moral aspect to political, social and economic life and environmental principles A systems weltanschauung will combine a RV (which is aware of our physical presence in a undifferentiable, changing world, accepts a greater role for emotions, and us...

This braiding of political and economic sciences is clearly illustrated in a case study of the decision-making process by the United Kingdom to leave the European Union in 2016. This article reveals the role of political and economic factors instrumental in this decision and concludes with appeal for understanding and future built on mutual respect and trust.

Every age has its own version of what should be taught and how to deliver this to the next generation. This paper examines five key aspects of the education process: purpose, methods, quality, transparency and independence, how these relate to modern Ukraine and the challenges this brings to their higher education system. It reports on a project working with partners across the European Union and four leading Ukrainian universities to improve the student experience and address these challenges. The results demonstrate that mentoring and communities of practice integrated into the action research process can support transformational change and a shift to a more open, student centred and constructivist education system. The resources and initiatives from this project form a roadmap to inform future development of student services across the Ukrainian Higher Education system.

There has been an unprecedented and exponential growth of technology and artificial intelligence capabilities over the past ten years which is challenging current working practices and affecting all areas of society. The paper examines how this role may change to match the new demands placed on them by a digitally enabled society that has greater leisure time. The design of the paper is first to detail some of the changes in work practices that are taking place and how these will impact on society. It then offers several ways in which universities could modify their role to respond to these emerging challenges. This could include new courses, new organisational structures and new pedagogical practices. The paper provides a platform for discussion and debate around the strategic vision and direction of travel for higher education.

This paper explores how a combination of three proven systemic tools can be combined to provide a suitable framework for such analysis. It uses the Gulf Cooperation Council as a case study.

A step-by-step feedback-teaching method is employed. We prepare a module of the material; teach it on a small sample to get feedback to further enhance the quality of the material developed. The paper starts with a discussion on the need for this course. It then gives a brief on the" ...

This article evaluates its impact on the epistemology of Macroeconomics. It probes deeper than an analysis on Rational Expectations into a debate on theory and practice in macroeconomics. The originality of the research concerns the convergence/divergence between the Keynes and Lucas critiques of econometrics/econometric policy. The paper updates and refines Lucas’s contribution to econometric policy evaluation framed by the Keynes – Tinbergen – Friedman – Lucas literature. The exegesis uses the expertise of the authors (one a cybernetician and one a macroeconomist) to provide a novel and stimulating platform for further debate.
