The said sector was opted as population of the study. Different Govt. Hospitals of Lahore were selected as a sample by using simple random sampling methodology. 200 questionnaires were distributed to the hospital’s staff. 170 questionnaires were filled by employees and used for further interpretation. The response rate of overall study was 85%. Pearson’s correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and reliability analysis were used for analysis on collected data. The results of Pearson’s correlation analysis showed that there is positive relationship between organizational climate, innovative climate, and cooperative climate with employee performance. The above said sector is selected as population of the current research. The data was collected from the private sector higher education institutes of Lahore. Questionnaire-based survey was used to collect data from 150 respondents comprising of students’, teachers’ and non-academic administration from six private sectors higher educational institutes of Lahore. Hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. Results reveal that leadership positively influences educational excellence in the higher education institutes whereas, this mechanism is partially supported considering total quality management as the mediating variable. Specifically, it explores the mediating role of work engagement in a relationship between transformational leadership and job performance. Banking sector of Lahore (Pakistan) has been considered as target population. Different bank's branches were selected randomly for conducting the research. Overall 200 questionnaires were distributed. 170 questionnaires were used for analysis. This research examines the impact of transformational leadership (TL) and social interaction (SI)... more This research examines the impact of transformational leadership (TL) and social interaction (SI) on organizational performance (OP) in the perspective of knowledge management (KM) within Pakistan's banking sector. In developing countries, knowledge management (KM) is highly practiced but in Pakistan it is a new concept and at the initial stages of its implementation. The situation of Pakistan's banking sector is better than other services sectors. Therefore, Pakistan's banking sector is opted as population of the study. Using the simple random sampling technique, 350 questionnaires were distributed in different bank's branches. The questionnaires were filled by two officer's rank of employee, i.e., top level managers and middle level managers. Totally, 270 questionnaires were fully completed and used for final analysis. The overall response rate was 77%. Different statistical techniques were applied on the collected data, i.e., Reliability analysis, Pearson's correlation, Regression analysis and Sobel test. The results indicated that there is a positive relationship among transformational leadership, social interaction, knowledge management, and organizational performance. Furthermore, knowledge management acted as partially mediator between transformational leadership, social interaction and organizational performance. Additionally, current research provides guidelines to the management of banking sector of developing countries specially Pakistan that how transformational leadership, social interaction and knowledge management can improve the organizational performance.

With the help of simple random sampling, different branches of public banks and private banks are selected as a sample. 270 questionnaires were circulated to top level and middle level managers. 230 questionnaires were filled by employee and used for analysis. The overall response rate was 85%. Different statistical methods i.e. Reliability analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis are applied on collected data. The results of Person's correlation analysis shows that there is positive relationship between transformational leadership, social interaction, knowledge management and its dimensions i.e. knowledge sharing and knowledge application. Moreover, regression analysis's results explains that social interaction is strong predictor of knowledge management as compare to transformational leadership. From the managerial viewpoint, the results give rational direction to banking sector of Pakistan to understand the significance of knowledge and its management as well.

The researchers have focused on the incorporation of corporate environmental governance issues into business practices in order to gain a competitive advantage for the firms (Wise and Ali, 2008; Mitra et al. 2008). However, a little has been found on the corporate environmental governance issues and practices of Pakistani firms in tobacco industry since the concept of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility is newer for the emerging economies like Pakistan. This shows study tells about the two companies and their corporate responsibility towards the society. Pakistan Tobacco Company and Lakson both are in same business which is risky to health for customers but they are considering Corporate Social Responsibility and environment safety for generating goodwill in the minds of customers and stakeholders.

Further, this study also hypothesized that employees’ organizational identification mediates the direct relationship between perceived organizational politics (POP) and employee outcomes. For the purpose of this study, data were collected from 678 faculty members working in the higher education institutes (HEIs) operating in Pakistan through self-administered questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation and regression analysis were applied for data analysis. Social researchers have been investigating work ethic values, environment, rewards and citizenship behavior of employees in different studies from diverse dimensions. This study brings all these propositions together with novel addition of Islamic work ethics in theoretical framework due to predominantly Muslim majority setting of organization under investigation. There is increased interest to observe impact of Islamic work ethics on different dimensions of organizational work environment, therefore, this study has been conceptualized to observe their relationship and influence on above mentioned important aspects. Pakistan Telecommunication Company has been chosen being the largest communication business of the country; hence results of this study would depict trends of the fastest growing significantly important sector of the economy. Simple Random sampling technique was used along with the structured questionnaire. Questionnaire was distributed to 200 employees working in franchises, regional offices and business centers currently operated in Lahore. 152 questionnaires were returned back filled which quotes 76% response rate. SPSS 17 and AMOS 16 were used to analyze the data. Study explored a new dimension which communicates a great influence of Islamic work ethics on citizenship behavior of employees that is reported as 58%.
