Technology as well as technological support in construction job might impact the methods of construction in addition to several features of construction process (design and manage project, communicate and Completion during project, requirements and problems of project, speed of Completion of a project, cost of project, and Sustainability of project), those aspects should be considered and some resolutions should be recommended. The objective of this research is to examine the impact of technology on developing directions of building constructions in Jordan and to identify the impact of technology on some particular aspects of construction project. The author applied a descriptive analytical approach in order to gather the data. The outcomes of the research indicated that there is a statistically significant impact of the impact of technology on project management and design of constructions, a statistically significant impact of the impact of technology on developing communication as well of project completion of constructions, a statistically significant impact of the impact of technology on developing necessities and concerns of project of constructions, a statistically significant impact of the impact of technology on developing the speed of project completion, a statistically significant impact of the impact of technology on developing project budget and cost, and additionally there is a statistically significant impact of the impact of technology on developing sustainability of project of constructions. The research suggested containing information regarding what is useful from the workers' technological capabilities, the odds for progressions on their work and how those employees are influenced by the conditions of their work, interest of applying technology in constructions to preserve the sustainability of the surroundings as well as resources, and including employees in training courses in order to use technology which is reflected positively on the economic returns of the organization.

This revolution is the greater than before use of Building Information Modeling (BIM). This study investigates the effects of Building Information Modeling on construction project productivity and Cost. The study sample was (50) managers of construction projects in Jordan. The researcher used descriptive method and developed a questionnaire to collect data. The results of the study showed that the mean of study paragraphs came high within field which measures the role of using Buildings Information Modeling in the cost of the project, t the mean of the paragraphs of the study came high within the field , which measures the role of using Building Information Modeling on productivity of construction, and that the differences was statistically significant for field which states "the role of the using Building Information Modeling in the productivity of construction in favor of diploma, and that the differences was statistically significant for field which states "the role of the using Building Information Modeling in the cost of construction in favor of bachelor, also the result of this study showed that there are no statistically significant relationship at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) in the impact of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) on the productivity and the cost of construction projects due to the variable (gender, experience). This study recommended founding a Staff from company or outside it for training employees and to exercise particular programs to increase the requirements of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

A close-ended questionnaire was used to gather data which was later evaluated using descriptive and inferential statistics.FindingsThe results show a significant role in project performance, customer satisfaction, project quality, cost-effectiveness, time effectiveness, shared cooperation and motivation of employees. It emphasizes the role of engineering in achieving the ISO 9001 standard. Quality standards in the construction project were also endorsed by 46.2% of participants, while 33.3% responded neutrally. Changes in construction projects are common due to the dynamic nature of the construction process. It is necessary to use effective and appropriate tools by project management to support decision-making and control changes during all stages of project implementation. This study examined the effects of change orders through technical programs on construction projects in Jordan and focused on how to overcome these effects by making usual orders that can be handled by each of the contracting parties. Also, this study added an advantage by not addressing the negative effects of change orders, but it provided many positive effects of change orders by using technical programs method, which has not been yet researched in Jordanian studies in particular, and in global studies in general. The researcher used descriptive analytical method by interviews to collect data through nine questions to a random sample of 30 engineers selected form constructions projects in Jordan. The results related to the study questions on the effect of change orders through technical programs on construction projects in Jordan showed that, most of the study samples confirm that change orders through technical programs decrease the cost of the projects, cause no need for more materials, cause no delay in the completion schedule, enhances the quality of work, and increase the productivity of the work force. The study recommended applying integrated change management system with technical supports form different technologies, developing effective innovative and practical solution to manage change orders and increase training programs to qualify and increase engineering skills in dealing with ICT (information and communication technologies) program.

Although construction industry had prospered since long time ago and achieved advanced degrees in its products and ways to implement them, it has been criticized for its poor performance and productivity in relation to other industries. Quality products in this industry will not be achieved without using appropriate methods of quality management during projects lifecycle. This study investigates the degree of using methods of quality management in the implementation of construction projects in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (50) managers of construction projects in Jordan. The researcher used descriptive method and develop questionnaire to collect data. The researcher used means, standard deviations the results of the study showed that there are high degrees of using the testing and inspection method, quality control method, the Quality Assurance method, and the Total Quality Management method in the implementation of construction projects in Jordan. This study recommended the founding a Staff from company or outside it for training and employees and to exercises particular programs to contract with the requirements of changes.

The ability of materials to absorb noise creates future problems for the building and for the residents; although, temporary presence of construction noise holds minor importance for some projects. The study aims to assess the role of materials and labour allocation in cost-effective soundproof house construction projects. The efficiency of synthetic foam, polyurethane and cellular materials was explored in providing insulation in multiple construction projects. Various soundproofing solutions such as rubber, gypsum, homasote, plywood and natural fibres were discussed in the light of cost-effectivity. Soundproofing can be guaranteed by using environmentally-friendly, natural, degradable and recycled products in the construction industry. The study helped in highlighting the materials that can help in building soundproof construction projects. The results indicated the need for applying modern, synthetic, cost-effective and green sound-absorbing systems in construction projects. The safety along with minimal maintenance and longevity of the completed construction projects is maintained by advancements in technological efficiency of building materials. The adaptation of Western construction technologies will ensure success in building construction projects as modern building materials play a significant role in building of sound proof construction buildings.

In the present business landscape, innovative competence is considered as a salient component for... more In the present business landscape, innovative competence is considered as a salient component for the business success, notably in the developing engineering and construction companies. To assess the extent of innovativeness and adoption of new practices in engineering management in the construction industry. The research adopted a mixed research design in which the data was collected by two tools: questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. The data was collected from 357 individuals who were employed in the construction companies operating in Jordan. Correlation analysis and regression analysis was used to analyze the data collected. Results revealed males made up 67.3% of the study sample and 33.3% were females. Responses showed that internal and external innovative work environment as well as strategic management practices significantly impact the innovative competence of the firm. It also revealed an insignificant impact of the stakeholders on engineering management in the construction sector. Organizations should develop an innovative strategy and identify that enhancing innovation demands both external and internal innovative environment.
