В статье исследованы особенности современного развития минерально-сырьевых отраслей в Апшеронском... more В статье исследованы особенности современного развития минерально-сырьевых отраслей в Апшеронском экономическом районе Азербайджанской Республики, проанализирован ряд показателей, характеризующих их развитие. Установлена необходимость проведения работ в направлении развития инфраструктуры, переработки отходов, применения современных технологий, комплексного использования сырья и осуществления инвестиций для обеспечения в перспективе эффективного развития промышленных отраслей на основе минерально-сырьевых ресурсов Апшеронского региона. Встановлено необхідність проведення робіт у напрямку розвитку інфраструктури, переробки відходів, застосування сучасних технологій, комплексного використання сировини та здійснення інвестицій для забезпечення в перспективі ефективнішого розвитку промислових галузей на основі мінерально-сировинних ресурсів Апшеронського регіону. waste management and application of modern technologies along with complex usage of raw materials and further investing is stated; in the long run this would ensure the effecient development of
industries based on the usage of mineral resources of Absheron region.

The article studies the peculiarities of development of the regions in Azerbaijan economy and ana... more The article studies the peculiarities of development of the regions in Azerbaijan economy and analyzes some indicators characterizing the current state of economic development and usage of natural resources in Absheron and Sheki-Zagatala economic regions of the country. The ecological potential of the country and its economic regions has significant importance in increasing of the usage of natural resources and in ensuring the sustainable development. By taking into consideration this the essence of ecological rent is explained and for the first time its quantity is determined comparatively in Absheron and Sheki-Zagatala economic regions of Azerbaijan by using N.N. Klyuev method of determining the "ecological tax".
