This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in the formation of national values during the pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted at SDN 002 Cicadas Bandung. The data was obtained by conducting in-depth interviews with the specified informants: principals, homeroom teachers, teachers, and students. The consideration of being specified is source triangulation and it is part of the data validity stage. Research data is analyzed using several data analysis steps, namely data reduction, data classification and data verification. The study results indicated that the implementation of character education in the formation of national values during the pandemic can be done through; a) national character habituation activities, b) integration of character materials related to national values and c) forming online national discussion groups.

Eksistensi pesantren telah memainkan perannya sebagai lembaga pendidikan sejak zaman kolonial sampai sekarang di era global. Pesantren telah berkontribusi dalam menata kehidupan masyarakat baik dalam aspek spiritual dan sosial. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengkaji berkenaan dengan pengembangan potensi sosiologis pesantren di era globalisasi dengan tempat penelitian di pesantren Al Falah Dago Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi, wawancara dan penelitian lapangan. Sumber data penelitian melalui wawancara dilakukan terhadap kiyai, ustazd, staf pesantren dan santri. This research uses a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data were collected using observation, interview, field observation, and document study. The validity of the data was obtained utilizing triangulation and supplemented with referential adequacy. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the research show that; 1) Pondok Pesantren Al Falah Dago, Bandung City still maintains the old pattern both in terms of curriculum and learning system, 2) learning activities are carried out using yellow books or classical books, 3) the learning system uses traditional methods such as sorogan, bandongan, memorization and bahsu al-Masa'il, as well as memorizing and modern uses such as group learning and discussions between students.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, peserta didik dan dokumen sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Kemajuan teknologi informasi sebagai akibat dari revolusi industri 4.0 telah merubah tatanan kehidupan masyarakat termasuk peserta didik. Adanya kecenderungan peserta didik yang kurang peduli social, egois dan tidak ramah terhadap lingkungannya harus segera diatasi melalui inovasi kebijakan kurikulum di sekolah. Inovasi kebijakan kepala sekolah merupakan cara dan metode baru yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu lulusan yang memiliki sikap social yang baik. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Sources of research data are school principals, teachers, students, and school documents. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. Advances in information technology due to the 4.0 industrial revolution have changed the order of life for people, including students. Students' tendency to be less socially concerned, selfish, and unfriendly to their environment must be addressed through innovative curriculum policies in schools. Principal's policy innovation is a new method and method applied by school principals to improve the quality of graduates with good social attitudes. The findings in this study can be concluded that the principal's policy innovation in developing KTSP is to foster students' social attitudes through; 1) Equal mindset towards curriculum governance. 2) Expansion of the material for social attitudes and 3) Strengthening the learning process of social attitudes.

PAI learning is a planned activity that conditions and stimulates students to learn well in accordance with the learning objectives. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang inovasi kebijakan kepala sekolah dalam mengembang... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang inovasi kebijakan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan KTSP (Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan) untuk menumbuhkan sikap social peserta didik di era revolusi industry 4.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, peserta didik dan dokumen sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Kemajuan teknologi informasi sebagai akibat dari revolusi industri 4.0 telah merubah tatanan kehidupan masyarakat termasuk peserta didik. Adanya kecenderungan peserta didik yang kurang peduli social, egois dan tidak ramah terhadap lingkungannya harus segera diatasi melalui inovasi kebijakan kurikulum di sekolah. Inovasi kebijakan kepala sekolah merupakan cara dan metode baru yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu lulusan yang memiliki sikap social yang baik. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa inovasi kebijakan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan KTSP untuk menumbuhkan sikap social peserta didik melalui; 1) Penyamaan pola pikir terhadap tata kelola kurikulum. 2) Perluasan materi sikap social dan 3) Penguatan proses pembelajaran sikap social. This study aims to examine the principal's policy innovation in developing KTSP (Education Unit L... more This study aims to examine the principal's policy innovation in developing KTSP (Education Unit Level Curriculum) to foster students' social attitudes in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Sources of research data are school principals, teachers, students, and school documents. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. Advances in information technology due to the 4.0 industrial revolution have changed the order of life for people, including students. Students' tendency to be less socially concerned, selfish, and unfriendly to their environment must be addressed through innovative curriculum policies in schools. Principal's policy innovation is a new method and method applied by school principals to improve the quality of graduates with good social attitudes. The findings in this study can be concluded that the principal's policy innovation in developing KTSP is to foster students' social attitudes through; 1) Equal mindset towards curriculum governance. 2) Expansion of the material for social attitudes and 3) Strengthening the learning process of social attitudes.
