The solution seeks to address the fore mentioned issue. The comparison that Google Search now offers is focused more on text search than anything else. The pricing and any available coupons or discounts on that website are not listed. This paper proposes a solution- a price-deals-lister, a microservice based website which scrapes the various e-commerce websites and get the deals available, stores them in database and later the request processor unit will take the data from the database according to the user’s request and show it to the user. Customers and retailers alike will benefit from this initiative because it allows them to quickly and easily access all the data with just one click. Anyone can access the website and compare the offers found on other e-commerce websites. In view of the Market analysis, Shopkeepers can use a website to verify the current m...

Business rules are implemented as triggers in relational databases. The rule expresses a policy that how organization carries out a task. Business rules represent information about real world and database is collection of related information. Also people are interested in the set of rules that determines operation of business. Data models in DBMS give the structure of data; business rules are sometimes used to tell how the data can and should be used. There are various types data models supported in DBMS like network model, Hierarchical model and relational model. There are various business rules in DBMS like domain rules, integrity rules and triggering operations. In relational database business rules can be implemented with the help of checks, assertions and triggers. Eliciting, expressing, and capturing business rules is most important in DBMS which makes live databases more strong.

A novel approach: Cloud-based real-time electronic notice board
2017 International Conference On Smart Technologies For Smart Nation (SmartTechCon), 2017

The old traditional bulletin notice board system provides a scope for digitization with replacement using a much faster and efficient electronic modular notice board system which is paperless and reduces physical methods of maintenance and operations. This paper proposes an electronic cloud-based architecture for an e-notice board system for Rashtrasant Tukadoji MaharajNagpur University and can act as a seed model for smart universities in India, which consists of Light Emitting Diode (LED) monitors displaying textual, image or document notices generated through this system's Android smartphone-based or Web desktop-based applications. The proposed approach uses Java and XML languages for its Android application and Angular JS for its Web-based application with back-end cloud database system as Google Firebase for real-time syncing. A small micro-computer such as a Raspberry-Pi can be used for display purpose on the monitors by projecting a web browser. The system comprises of a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) system and an external hosted MySQL server for delivering notifications based on the notices generated through the system. The entire system is modular with scalable and secure authentication levels, offline-notice generation support, realtime syncing of notices across all connected devices (smartphones, desktops and LED monitors) and an omnipresent cloud support. The system provides individual department as well as university level notice feeds.

Optimized execution method for queries with materialized views: Design and implementation

There have been no systematic studies that look at the impact of query optimizations on performance and energy consumption in relational and NoSQL databases. Indeed, due to a lack of precise power calculation techniques in various databases and queries, the energy activity of several basic database operations is mostly unknown, as are the queries themselves, which are very complicated, extensive, and exploratory. As a result of the rapidly growing size of the DW system, query response times are regularly increasing. To improve decision-making performance, the response time of such queries should be as short as possible. To resolve these issues, multiple materialized views from individual database tables have been collected, and queries have been handled. Similarly, due to overall maintenance and storage expenses, as well as the selection of an optimal view set...

The Web mining is one of the applications of data mining techniques to depict the knowledge out from web log data. Web mining is generally defined as Preprocessing, discovery and analysis of useful information from the Web. Web Usage Mining consists as the process of Preprocessing, Pattern Discovery and pattern Analysis. The memory and time usage is compared by means of the pattern discovery algorithms such as Apriori and Frequent Pattern Growth algorithm. The aim of this paper is to understand the web usage mining process such as preprocessing of web usage data and also the finding of frequent Patterns and their analysis. And also the comparison of both algorithms on the same dataset is done. Due to more use of internet, the log files are increasing at higher rate in according to size. The Preprocessing plays an important role in efficient mining process because data i...

Query Processing In Distributed Database Through Data Distribution

The arrangement of data transmissions and local data processing is known as a distribution strategy for a query. Two cost measures, response time and total time are used to judge the quality of a distribution strategy. Various algorithms are used that derive distribution strategies which have minimal response time and minimal total time, for a special class of queries. The optimal algorithms are used as a basis to develop a general query processing algorithm. The integration of a query processing subsystem into a distributed database management system is used for analyzing query response time across fragmentations of global relations. Distributed query processing is an important factor in the overall performance of a distributed database system. The database queries access the applications on the distributed database sites thus the main problem incurred is the minimization of t...

Classical SQL queries have remarkable capabilities in terms of data extraction and answer formation from information stored at widely dispersed databases. Human queries are rarely crisp which poses challenges in efficient answer formation and data retrieval. These are based on human perception which is grossly inexact and imprecise based on world knowledge. Integration of query languages with fuzzy logic can increase their capability in data retrieval based on human perception. Query optimization is a difficult task in a distributed client/server environment as data location becomes a major factor. The integration of a query processing subsystem into a distributed database management system with fuzzy logic is used for analyzing query response time across fragmentations of global relations. Fuzzy logic based query optimization in distributed database have an important impact on the performance of distributed que...

Data sources are dynamic in nature as information schema are continuously evolving and changing. In loosely coupled environment data sources are independent hence updates from various data sources are synchronous. Frequency of addition, deletion and updation operations on based relation have increased because of dynamic nature of data source. Analyzing query response time in distributed heterogeneous environment consists of communication part to establish a connection with heterogeneous data source and data transmission part to transfer data across distributed sites. Selection and maintenance of views is vital task in order to provide maximum efficiency by cutting down query processing and maintenance cost. Integrating data from distributed dynamic environment is big challenge. Querying data from heterogeneous sources is an important research issues in distributed environment. Materialized View...

Deep learning techniques are used as an efficient system application process in research on the advancement of artificial intelligence technology in human-computer interactions. As an illustration, let’s say someone tries to communicate by using facial expressions. Some people who see it occasionally cannot foresee the expression or emotion it may evoke. Psychology includes study and evaluation of inferences in interpreting a person’s or group of people’s emotions when interacting in order to recognize emotions or facial expressions. Indeed, a convolutional neural networks (CNN) model may be learned to assess images and recognize facial expressions. This study suggests developing a system that can classify and forecast facial emotions using feature extraction and real-time Convolution Neural Network (CNN) technology from the OpenCV library. We have chosen FER 2013 Dataset as the main dataset for our study. Face detection, e...
