
Aaliya Tahirkheli
Aaliya Tahirkheli has to her credit more than 14 years of experience of working with communities, local, national and international organizations on thematic areas pertaining to local governance, gender and development, children’s education and emotional development, capacity assessment and development and value chains. During the course of working on the varied thematic areas, Aaliya has developed expertise in designing of the projects, implementation, end term evaluations, trainings and development of communication materials and linkage development. She has also been instrumental in moderating and facilitating women entrepreneurs from Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan to find market linkages for medium-size enterprises.
Aaliya jointly designed and conducted a mid-term evaluation with a Senior Advisor Norad of an institutional strengthening partnership among public and private sector organizations under a bi-lateral agreement between the Governments of Norway and Pakistan. As a visiting faculty member of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Aaliya has been conducting courses as well as supervising thesis work of Master’s students.
Aaliya Tahirkheli holds a Master’s degree in English Literature (University of the Punjab), Basic certification in Women Studies (Quaid-e-Azam University) and M.Sc Globalization and Development (Institute of Development Policy and Management, University of Manchester).
