The aim of this work is to analyse in detail the process and the reasons of the progressive disso... more The aim of this work is to analyse in detail the process and the reasons of the progressive dissolution of United States hegemony in today's and future's world, with a time horizon that spawns from today to 2030, and try to understand the possible new future for the international relations world, using prominently the realist hegemony theory. The analysis is carried out in five different chapters in which the matter is explored using different points of view, in way to describe at the best the change that is going on throughout this years and the near future in international relations with a special attention on strategic and military consequences of the decline of American power. The first chapter deals with the more philosophical and theoretical aspect of the matter analysing causes and possible consequences using the four main theories of international relations: Realism, Liberalism, Marxism and Constructivism.
